Participantsomething like witness protection to keep herself safe from Stefano and/or his goons, because I’m sure he will blame her for everything, including her and Kate’s betrayal, along with E.J.’s death. If she’s threatened or thinks her children might be kidnapped….again…. her exit may have her agreeing to leave Salem and take her kids with her. I could very well see it happening that way. That’s assuming, of course, that E.J. is really dead. If not, then maybe the assassination was faked and that was E.J.’s and Marco’s plan all along. Don’t know how they could switch the body out though. Anyway, if I’m right, that would be a pretty good exit for Sami and for her kids. Lucas and Sami have some scenes coming up soon. I think if E.J. is alive and that there are others in on it, but it’s being kept from Sami and the children for now.

Participant8-6 in 10 innings; but, what a great game!! Looking for much better results today. These 2 teams could not be more perfectly matched! I pick O’s to win in 6!!! Goooooo Oooooooo’s!!!!

Participantand the “ashes ashes we all fall down” while showing E.J. on the morgue table. That was terrific acting, directing and visual as well; then we had Will wiping up the spilled (red) juice from the counter blending back to Sami with E.J.’s blood on her clothes. Fabulous effects.

Participantbut I still cannot/do not believe this is a real death. It seems I read somewhere that JS taped scenes which may or may not have been seen; however, if this is real, they sure did a good job with it. I absolutely thought AS was wonderful the way she was so deeply into denial, all the way up to her last scene when she went into the morgue and E.J. was on that morgue table (gave me chills to the bone), then finally admitting she couldn’t hear his heart beat. I, too, wondered why she wouldn’t ask him “who did this to you.” Actually, I was surprised to hear Clyde ask Miguel “why did you do that” which makes me think all the more that he (Miguel) was in on it with E.J., or perhaps Stefano, in some way. I don’t know, I just found the absence of anyone (doctors, nurses, etc.) checking him at the hospital; the rushed and uncaring nature of the EMT’s; just all very eerie and unexplainable; but then there was the blood, which really threw me, so I’m still hoping it will somehow be faked and we will see late scenes taped by JS when Alison exits the show. Fingers crossed, anyway.

ParticipantThe Orioles have come too far to lose home team advantage. I had to give my son a ride to work this morning after taking the kids to school. He works in the heart of the Inner Harbor, and at 9:00 a.m. this morning there were traffic cops on each and every corner downtown coming from every direction, which is not the norm. Took me forever to get him there and although a lot of that traffic was caused by people trying to get to work, I saw a huge amount of out-of-town tags, which I’m sure were fans arriving early to see the start of the ALCS. What a bummer if tonight’s game is rained out.

Participanthe now has gotten the better of both Kristen AND Theresa by not admitting the truth. But I so agree with letting Theresa get away with what she did to John and then blaming it on Brady. The witch would have laced John’s IV with something that would have killed him if he had not opened his eyes and caught her. Now that his memory has returned, he has them both exactly where he wants them at this point, so Theresa being pregnant would be a gigantic disappointment for me. No more pregnancies, writers, PLEASE!!!

Participantthat the writers were going to fake E.J.’s death, so that’s just fine with me. I don’t know if JS will ever return, but I’m sure AS will at some point, especially for the 50th anniversary. I, too, think it will turn out that E.J.’s minion shoots E.J., but with blanks in the gun so as to make it appear, at least to Clyde, that he’s dead. From the JS and AS interviews I’ve read, they have both stated that EJami fans will be happy with their departure, so I’m holding on to the belief that E.J.’s death was, indeed, faked.

Participantof the Dallas “Who Shot J.R.” show with E.J. for November sweeps. A who-done-it mystery is in the works, also similar to Nick Fallon’s demise. So, here we go again!!

Participantto E.J. DiMera; like father, like son, I truly believe his death will be faked. Now, whether it’s by someone else or by E.J. himself, I’m not sure. What I DON’T want to have happen is to have some newbie, i.e., Clyde, be the one to kill E.J. He’s too iconic a character to have him meet his demise by someone who has only been with the show for a couple of months. I also don’t believe it will be Chad, so if E.J. DiMera has to go down, I want it to be worth my while to say to myself: “well, okay, I expected that.” But, please writers, do NOT let it be at the hands of James Read’s “Okie from Muskogee” character.

Participantthe talks, the negotiations, the break-downs, the false hopes …. Bo’s been gone some two years now. I vote NO, BO …. this was PR’s choice. Now he’s at it again! I don’t know what these writers have in store for Aiden, but I see real chemistry between him and Hope, so unless he (Aiden) turns out to be some sort of homicidal maniac who would be detrimental to Hope and Ciara, I say PR can stay gone. Why bring him back for closure only to agree to the divorce and once again destroy Hope and Ciara. Stop testing the waters, Peter, especially when it’s simply about “SHOW ME THE MONEY”.

ParticipantI was just going to post on our football thread and let you know it was my turn to congratulate you on your fabulous rejuvenated team. I’m sure it does feel great having the Bills in first place in your division. That’s quite an accomplishment. So happy for Buffalo … the team and the fans so deserve this improved team. My hat’s off to them for their performance, and glad for Buffalo fans as well.
Yes, our Orioles magic worked well for us in taking care of the Tigers by sweeping them with yesterday’s win. Now, hope we can keep the momentum going when we meet Kansas City for the ALCS, which starts here in Baltimore on Friday. Nice to have that home team advantage to start things off. So, by all means congrats to our teams by taking care of both Detroit teams yesterday.
The Ravens had a shot at coming back yesterday against the Colts. Neither team looked all that great yesterday, but we had a poor offensive showing, 3 turnovers and Joe got sacked 3 times as well. I’m surprised our new Offensive Coordinator, Kubiak, took to the air much more than on the ground, which he is known for, but I’m sure I’ll see that corrected next week.
Anyway, I’m happy for the Orioles and for your Bills for their respective wins yesterday. Continued good luck!!!

Participantnice visual analogy, though, for some I suppose.

Participantwho enjoyed that. I just hope the writers spread the just desserts around proportionately enough so that everyone deserving gets their fair share.

Participantthat beside him and Brady, who was already passed out, that Theresa was the only other person in the room. IIRC, he recalled that he and Theresa were arguing; that he called her a whore; and that she had tricked Brady into marrying her. She grabbed at him and he raised his arm to get her to release him, and that’s when she fell to the floor. His back was turned to her from that point on, but he knew she was p.o.’d and had fallen and at that point we (the audience) see Theresa pick up the fireplace poker and whack John, …. so I guess my point would be that he would have to have seen Theresa to know that she was the only other person there at that split second who could have hit him.

Participantwho deserves a break from Stefano, E.J., or Chad for that matter, who I totally believe is using her for his own benefit. I, on the other hand, will enjoy watching Kate disintegrate before my very eyes, for all the harm she’s been dealing out to everyone over the years. There just are no decent/innocent Salemites associated with this story line. She’s the one who better watch her back, because something wicked this way cometh, and it’s not going to be Kate who will be the last one standing through all of this….at least I hope she’s not. When I think about it, Kate makes Eve Donovan look like Cinderella’s mean step-mother, and we all know how far that got her in the end.
