and the very old, but very young Nikki and Sami flashbacks were just as delightful. I’m so happy they wrote them this way for Sami’s exit. Now, if only they would write a good s/l with a happy ending for Nicole and pairing her with someone worthy of her, I might decide to stay with this show after 3 of its icons are gone by the end of the week of November 3rd (when ED departs Salem).

although she did influence her decision, but ONLY after Kate called and let her know that Victor got her off completely and the SEC was not charging her. Now that she knows she’s not going to prison, she feels that she can move on. I agree though about not letting her family in on it before she makes this decision. She will be leaving Salem with her children, so unless Lucas fights her on taking Allie, she has no one else to answer to. Will is a married man with a child, but I’m guessing she will be talking everything over with the family next week, but her mind seems to be made up.

and I think it’s very much a probability that E.J. will be re-cast. AS has already indicated she will come back for the 50th, but if they re-cast E.J., I’m betting it will be sooner, especially since The Biggest Loser ratings have been dropping. I think Michael Muhney would be a fabulous E.J. He played Adam Newman (Victor’s son) on Y&R but was released from the show due to an unproven rumor that he inappropriately touched the actress who plays Summer on the show. There was a big controversy over it and a lot of ‘he said/she said’, but Michael was released from the show anyway. I don’t know if the either one of the rumors about Muhney is true, but I would love to see E.J. be re-cast, and I think Muhney would be perfect in the role, assuming he could perfect J.S.’ British accent.

between Nicole, Sydney and Sami, and can’t wait for it to continue tomorrow. I would agree that the tears being shed by all of the cast are truly genuine knowing they are saying farewell to their dear friend, Ali, for real. I don’t know how James held still throughout that goodbye scene with AS when he was laying on that morgue table, but I have no doubt hers were genuine then as well. Next week I will continue bawling my eyes out when she will be saying goodbye to family, including Lucas. Glad I stocked up on the Kleenex before all this started.

without Sami and E.J., I just don’t seem to care about other character’s sls right now, but that could change. For now, though, no one can take AS’ and JS’ place, IMO!

I, too, am so sad that the Orioles did not make it to the World Series after having such a fabulous season, but I’ll be there, God willing, rooting them on again next year.

and it’s obvious there’s no rehearsal to it. They are both very quick-witted and, at the same time, obviously are great friends. I started watching The Voice when American Idol got so bad between the talent and the judging, I just had to give up on it.

it’s not as if there isn’t enough music/songs written that would properly fit the dance being performed. I can’t appreciate that about DWTS either.

but these exit sls for AS and JS are just a sore spot for me. My post was certainly no reflection on your pov. (hug)!

were extremely disappointing. What happened to the spoiler I read that Sami was going to jail? Did Victor get her off, or is she just going to take off with the kids? Why wasn’t Kate included in the SEC investigation? Was she not part of defrauding DE? Does Stefano have E.J.’s body, was he buried in the family plot, or is he simply “on ice” waiting to make a comeback at some point in the body of another actor? The whole thing is a hot mess, and chalked up, once again, to more of the same …. lazy writing. The departure from DOOL of two icons like AS and JS should not involve comedy such as Kate suggesting Carol Burnette play Sami in a movie about the fall of the house of DiMera, or worse, E.J. “lying in his grave on the mantle.” And, with ED departing in another two weeks, I’m certain that her exit will be just as underwhelming. What a bunch of garbage. NEW WRITERS, PLEASE!!!

I’m simply stating that I can only follow villains for so long, with the exception of E.J., of course.

switching back and forth between DWTS and The Voice. I just love that show (The Voice). They always have such great talent, and it’s so hard to choose in these battle rounds.

I just adore Sadie on DWTS, and I’m really rooting for her. She’s so darn cute and she works well with Mark. I think she’ll go a long way if she stops letting her parents dictate her moves with Mark, but she is so young, so I guess I can see their point to some extent. Then again, Mark is so gracious and tries to adhere to their requests, but sometimes I think it just makes Sadie nervous in that she’s not dancing for herself, but for her parents’ approval.

I agree with you about Leah; she’s really good but sometimes I think she goes overboard with trying to be “too sexy”. She seems to try a little too hard to compete with the women pros, and it shows.

Also agree with the show picking judges who are not professional dancers trying to give their critique, especially when they have someone like Paula Abdul sitting in the audience.
