Rushed decision to move to Hollywood was made on the advice of Nicole?! Everyone knows, I love Nicole and today’s scenes didn’t dissapo, but really? Sami just like that, with EJ gone ONE DAY, decides with the help of Nicole?? No talking it over with family? C’mon writers. This feels so rushed and almost like a farce.
although she did influence her decision, but ONLY after Kate called and let her know that Victor got her off completely and the SEC was not charging her. Now that she knows she’s not going to prison, she feels that she can move on. I agree though about not letting her family in on it before she makes this decision. She will be leaving Salem with her children, so unless Lucas fights her on taking Allie, she has no one else to answer to. Will is a married man with a child, but I’m guessing she will be talking everything over with the family next week, but her mind seems to be made up.
but I still think Stefano plans on bringing him back to life at some point. I think E.J. will be re-cast down the road.
interview with Alison (TV Guide site) about her leaving Days, and she said her exit would be to CA. She didn’t mention anything at all about reuniting with a revived EJ.
I thought that Sami was so afraid that Stefano would come after the children. Does she really think she will be safe in California?
This makes NO sense to me. Witness protection would make more sense. So would starting a new life in Europe under new identities.
Also what happened to the "exit that will make the viewers happy"?
This story seems rushed and trown together, funny since they have know all year that Ali was leaving.
I’ve watched, and it’s because of that reason. Fans are so misled by these stars. Not that it will cause me to lose any sleep, but both Sami’s and E.J.’s exits were beyond disappointing; they make absolutely no sense whatsoever. You are correct justwondering, but will this show, its writers or its PTB give a damn how they are screwing up this show’s chances of being renewed if everything we watch on screen makes no common sense whatsoever. And it’s not just Sami’s and E.J.’s story, it’s most of the storylines we’ve been watching. I just don’t understand it, because the element of surprise is certainly not there when you look at how/why they arrive at the conclusion. I just don’t get it. I know soaps are down to 4 today, but what will replace them …. more talk shows. Ugh!
going into the witness protection program and very dramatic, heart-wrenching farewells with her family, not knowing when they’d see each other again. Then the last day would be Sami entering her new house and EJ would come out of a back room, sayiing it was all his setup. Talk about a rejoicing finale.
This Hollywood crap – sorry, Ali – was hardly “satisfying.”I also thought Sami and kids would go into witness protection. There would be a scene of Sami and the children in there new surroundings.
Another scene in another location shows EJ working on setting up things because he plans on finding her and the children once he has the resources.
This lets you know that EJ is alive and the possibility of being reunited — but not yet.
Witness protection is what I envisioned too. Could have easily been tied into the fraud case- she gives info for protection and the charges dropped. Seemed like a bunch of randomness to the writing. The acting, however, was great!
that this exit sl makes no sense in the grand scheme of Sami and EJ, I do think it is a funny little parallel to what many fans of this show feel about AS real-life/and Sami’s role on the show. She is moving on to Hollywood to have her own show based on her life and all about Sami. And she is going to have multiple jobs it would appear, as Ali does in real life. Now while I enjoy that little bit of tongue-in-cheek, I think as a finale it STINKS. EJ, the life of her life, is gone for about what, 3 days, and she is all of a sudden all happy, jumping for joy to make it in Hollywood? Nah, don’t buy into this one at all.
This one…bah! Beyond disappointing. I don’t even have any comments I’m so disappointed. I can’t imagine coming up with anything worse than what we are seeing. The only redemption that could ever save this horrible mess is to get a surprise ending at the very last minute that would somehow appease us all. But, at this point, I can’t imagine what that could possibly be.
needs to tone down the excitement about Hollywood. She went from the depths of grief to happiness/excitement all in a matter of a few days. Some people who are grieving don’t even smile for weeks or months!
This is supposed to be reality instead of science fiction. Stefano (the God), he thinks. How could E.J. be alive, with his ashes in the urn. Iknow Stefano will not stop until he FAllS DEAD FOR REAL. He should have been dead long ago.
Sami has completely forgotten E.J. She is so star struck that she can’t even remember E.J. If Will hadn’t gone to Victor and told him about Sami going to prison(which she should have.) That is totally breaking the law. And she gets out of prison with a pass. Disgusting.!!
