Remember Tomlin was hired and the writing got better, but then they relieved him of those duties and the writing went into a downward spiral. If nothing else, the new team probably reads these boards and they know what we don’t like, so there is a possibility that some of the crappy storylines will at least disappear. We always get excited and get let down, but I think if we view the change in writers as someone who can fix the current crap, that’s fine. When these writers start spiralling downward, they can be fired and bring on another new team. That seems to be the way for Days.

I don’t know that she’s ever been married. I thought I read a long time ago that her boyfriend was/is an NFL football player. I could be wrong. And she has never had any kids.

She has loved Austin since she was a teenager and now she’s madly in love with Rafe?  I couldn’t believe that she asked Marlena how she got the courage to leave Roman. Marlena actually had some real history with John, shared a child with him and was very much in love with him when she left Roman. Carrie doesn’t even have a relationship with Rafe. He’s never told her he loves her, much less has shared more than a kiss with her. She is awful!!! I, too, cannot stand Carrie and I wish they would send her packing again. Of course I didn’t like her last time around when she married Lucas, cheated on him and thought she was pregnant when she wasn’t.

Rafe is becoming unrecognizable.  I keep waiting for him to speak up and put Sami in her place.  Instead, he just stands there and takes it.  Sami–OMG!!  Where do we begin?  What drunken writer thought that we should even allow EJ and Sami to have a friendly scene together?  EJ raped Sami, is blackmailing her son, kidnapped her husband, replaced him with a psycho, stole her daughter and faked her death, is repsonsible for what happened to Johnny when Sami and he did the nasty last time and ultimately is responsible for the break-up of her current marriage. YUCK!!!  I just want to hurl!!! 

This is makin me sick! Need we rehash the history here. He raped her, broke up her marriage to Lucas, kidnapped Sidney and mad her believe she was dead, kidnapped her husband and replaced him with a fake, caused Johnny to be so scared that they thought he was dead, etc. I just can’t fathom even sitting down for a conversation with this man. Then again, his history is pretty obvious and I’m being forced to believe that the ignorant citizens of Salem would vote for him for mayor. I don’t care how down on your luck you are, you would not go to EJ for help, support, guidance and advice. Writers, I’m not that gullible!

I so agree about the way he treated Chloe and Parker. Sorry, but you don’t toss babies out like that.  We saw the same thing happen with EJ, Nicole and Sidney.  Amazing how these men can just toss kids out.  I have a big distaste for Daniel because of the way he was with Kate, Chelsea and Chloe.  That whole fiasco turned my stomach.  Loved Billie calling him out on that too.

I hated him with Jen, but then they grew on me.  Once he started having problems with his hands, he became overwhelmingly self pitying and I hated that.  His solution to leave town just proved how selfish he really is.  I wish they had kept him with Chloe.  They were hot together and that is when I like him best, but now, I don’t really see why he is part of the show.

You have the Salem brain and they can’t figure this out without it. Crappy writing once again. What about skype? Everyone has skype these days except those in Salem I guess.

It’s all of the over-the-top make-up and plastic surgery trying to make yourself appear younger and/or flawless.  We all have flaws.  I don’t watch the show looking for the flaws, but when you try too hard to make them disappear, it makes them all the more obvious.  I think Lisa Rinna was/is more beautiful without all of the over done make up and tanning.
