It’s gonna be long but I just would like to make my point about why I hate DanielSo sick and Tired of the proping of saint,perfect,wonderful …Daniel Jonas…Sick and tired of the writers trying to make him look like he’s such a catch when he actually sucks…Facts:-Daniel lied to Chloe about Melanie being his daughter-Chloe offered him to bring Melanie home and bond together.It wasn’t enough for him-Wasn’t there for her when she needed him, when she had to deal with the hysterical pregnancy and the news she had only 2% of chances of ever getting pregnant because he was all about Carly-Refused to listen to her when she came to him with her insecurities and tried to work things out with him,always defended Carly to Chloe and put Carly before Chloe.-Had the nerve to ask Chloe to accept Carly in their home or he’ll have to move out with her-Lied to her about what he was doing the night of the ons.-Didn’t believe her when she told him the very next day about the set up-Shut her up everytime she tried to tell him about the ons, putting litteraly his finger on her lips to shut her up , and tells her “the past doesn’t matter, there is nothing you could do that could make me stop loving you”. Sorry, but when someone tells you “I did something horrible, you would hate me if you knew”,you don’t shut them up and tell them what he told her especially when you don’t mean a word of it-Made great empty promises he didn’t keep.
Nobody ask themselves why Chloe didn’t trust Daniel, especially after she complety trusted him when he was framed for attempt of murder? Nobody wonders why Chloe changed that way? Remember when Kate poisoned Chloe and framed Daniel? The cops came to her, told her Daniel was the one who tried to kill her,they found evidence at his place…What did she do? She so believed in him and trusted him that she defended him like no one did. What changed that?
Daniel’s behavior ever since Carly and Melanie got into his life. He failed Chloe over and over again,completly tossed her aside and turned his back on her, proclaiming his great love for her with words, but his actions proving other wise.Chloe always had issues but they never took over like they did with Daniel. And if they did with Daniel it was because of his behavior. Daniel has been the trainwreck in her life.Danloe have the most amazing chemistry but it died the day Daniel didn’t blink an eye when Chloe was about to die. Before Daniel, Chloe NEVER cheated and NEVER considered conspiring for murder. He brought her down. He’s been a poison in her life, the worst thing that ever happened to her. There is nothing Daniel could say or do that could make me want him for Chloe ever again. He reached a no-return point for me. I don’t ever want him anywhere near Chloe ever again.She desrives and can do much much better. He proved beyond any doubt he NEVER loved Chloe. He knows he failed her,wasn’t there for her when she needed him, admitted it to Philip on the episode of october 7th , even thanked Philip for being there for Chloe when he wasn’t, for keeping her from “doing something stupid". He knows he pushed Chloe to the edge,to the point of doing something stupid yet is still acting as if he was a poor innocent blameless victim. And to Jennifer on episode of March 17 th, if I’m not wrong , telling her he could have avoided all that if he had been there for Chloe when she needed him. But of course, he prefered to believe Jennifer busting his huge ego and take no responsibilty for what happened. When Melanie told him she ruined her own life, he told her others did for her as well. The man thinks he’s prefect , can do no wrong and he and his daughter are poor blameless innocent victims in all that. Never mind it was their behavior that started all that.
Chloe showed signs of PPD long before the reveal, right after she gave birth: The way she was hodling her baby distantly ad coldly, how she couldn’t stand his crying, was relying on Daniel to handle him,..among other things but he, as usually, failed to see it. He caused her to lose her baby when he called CPS. He didn’t have to because Chloe’s PPD wasn’t diagnosed yet. It’s not like Chloe was diagnosed,given the medecine and refused the help.I wonder how Daniel would have reacted if it was Chloe wanting to help one of her exes,asking him to accept him in their home or she’ll have to move out with him? He wouldn’t have taken it at all. He’s such a hypocrite. He’s a heartless jerk.If Daniel was so "devastated" as they want to make us believe, he woudn’t have said"we’re over since a very long time", he would have taken 5 minutes to sit and talk to the woman he claimed he loved so much, he would have at least asked for a 2nd paternity test before giving up on a child he claimed he loved so much, and we would have seen at least ONE scene of him struggeling with his so oh so great love and even greater so called pain…but nothing. Sorry. Daniel doesn’t act like someone hurt, devastated, just like someone who was hurt in his ego but got over it pretty fast. Melanie as well. Both have gotten over the so called love of their lives and moved on faster than they can blink.
Daniel has the nerve to blame Chloe for believing the two people who lied to her that night But he took Carly’s word about Melanie being his daughter. Carly who he didn’t see since 20 years and didn’t tell him about Melanie all this time. He didn’ even ask for a DNA test to be sure of it. He took Caroline’s word about Philip being Parker’s father. He didn’t ask for a 2nd paternity test to be sure of it.But Chloe is not allowed to believe two people she thought had no reason to lie to her: The nurse and the clerck.
Daniel was jealous seeing Chloe talking to a guy(Quinn) pretending he’s concerned when he didn’t give a dam when she was about to die.The guy didn’t blink an eye to her suicide attempt but felt "worried and concerned" when he saw her with another man? Seriously? Of course he’s jealous not out of love. It’s just his ego that doesn’t like seeing Chloe with another man. Daniel hasn’t changed and I don’t get how anyone could believe a word coming from this guys lips:"-I’ll always love you no matter what even if you put me through hell-There is nothing you could do that could make me stop loving you-I would slay dragons for you-You’re: The love of my life, the one for me, the woman I have waited for my entire life, everything I want in a woman,…-I’m your man today, tomorow and forever….."So sick and tired of longtime fan favorites and veterans being thrown under the bus to prop Daniel and Melanie:Chloe,Philip,Brady,Jack….sick and tried of it.How many more?Daniel:

How many more are they gonna destroy, throw under the bus to prop these two worthless characters? So sick and tired of it. We thought that with DH gone,the proping of these two was over…what a fool we’ve been! These new writers are even worse that DH when it comes to these two characters.Wow, I agree with you on Daniel. I have always felt he put his own wants first. As a doctor, he is so far over the line, he should lose his license because of his constant relationships with patients, very unethical. And his treatment of Chloe was cold and cruel. Given his track record, any woman should run when he puts the moves on. He is great at playing the wronged victum, when he has usually set up the situation
I have a different take on Melanie, she is young and is definitely trying to grow and make good choices, she is by far my favorite in the young girls. I loved the way she handled the Abby situation, she was loyal to her friend, but was caring AND honest when talking to Abby about he behavior.
Send Daniel on permanent break, but keep Melanie
remember this guy came onto the show as a surfer dude who really didn’t have ties or responsibilities. I guess I never expected much other than his being a stellar doctor.
When I stand back and look at most of the current relationships on Days it’s not much more than musical couples.
And I agree, Melanie has developed into a character with a moral backbone.I so agree about the way he treated Chloe and Parker. Sorry, but you don’t toss babies out like that. We saw the same thing happen with EJ, Nicole and Sidney. Amazing how these men can just toss kids out. I have a big distaste for Daniel because of the way he was with Kate, Chelsea and Chloe. That whole fiasco turned my stomach. Loved Billie calling him out on that too.
I hated him with Jen, but then they grew on me. Once he started having problems with his hands, he became overwhelmingly self pitying and I hated that. His solution to leave town just proved how selfish he really is. I wish they had kept him with Chloe. They were hot together and that is when I like him best, but now, I don’t really see why he is part of the show.

The real Chloe,not DH’s version, wouldn’t even give a second look/thought to Daniel after the way he groped her during the exam and told her it was all in her head. She would have slapped him ,told him to go to hell and never looked back.I hate the way they threw her under the bus to prop him.
Melanie?The day of her wedding she was hoping Nathan would stop it,she kissed Nathan while married to Philip,confessed her love for Nathan while both were sick before the reveal and when the truth came out she and her dad acted like poor blameless innocent victims and got over and moved on faster then they could blink.I can’t stand either one of them.
