At first I didn’t like the idea of Tamara playing Taylor but now that this Taylor has been on for a while now, I am greatly looking forward to the new Taylor.  I don’t think any of us will miss the ever-present breathlessness of Taylor.

I think they try to please a younger audience when they play the wrong song for a dance but they need to remember that it’s a ballroom dance show.  It’s not American Idol.  There are so many great Latin songs as well that they could play for the Latin dances.

Who picks the music for the show?  I don’t think it’s the band but I’m not really sure.

Another thing I forgot to mention.  I liked some of the songs for the dances but it still irks me that they play music that doesn’t fit the flavor of the dance.  American Woman for a Foxtrot?  Really?  It was hard for me to enjoy Kirstie and Maks’ dance when I was so distracted by the music.  The dance could be phenomenal but if the music doesn’t go with the dance, then I don’t care for the dance.  They can still play a modern version of the music that fits the dance, but don’t play rock for a foxtrot or Bon Jovi to a waltz (don’t know if that happened but you get my point).

It’s funny, Patti, I must be one of the very few who doesn’t find Max appealing at all.  There’s something about him that turns me off.  Don’t shoot me, ladies!

I just watched Monday’s show last night.  I was also hoping Kendra would go home instead of Petra.  I find Kendra irritating and I think she’s a big phony.  I have to admit going into the very first show this season, I was prepared to not like her since I have no respect for these bimbos living with Hugh Hefner.  But I ended up kind of liking her.  BUT, then my initial feelings came back.  I don’t like her.  Her smile is so fake and I don’t like all her negative comments.  Also, we get that she just had her period as she only mentioned it about 100 times!

I also don’t even know my cell phone number without checking it!  I don’t know how to text nor do I want to learn. I don’t even know how to check messages though only a few close people have my number.  I only use my phone if the train/bus is running late and I am going to be late for something or to call AAA for my car which I had to do one time.  I think they are great for emergencies and notifications but I really hate the way people abuse them.   I don’t think people should be talking on them while driving.  And some people feel the need to broadcast their conversations on the bus and trains.  It’s also annoying, as you mentioned SW, when people are talking so loudly on their cell in a store.  On many occasions I’ve had people walking right behind me at stores yelling into the phone.  Drives me nuts.

I also don’t want to be reached at all times.  I love quiet time.  When I go for walks I do not bring my phone.  I have a work phone and home phone with messaging capabilities on both.  I feel sorry for people who always need to be in touch with someone and I can’t even imagine constantly checking my messages and texting and calling people.  I feel it’s an addiction.

I also hope it’s John.  Does anyone know when this person will be on screen?

Here’s to Rob going to Redemption Island tonight! (one can hope, can’t one?)   Hopefully they’ll see the threat that he is, let him tell them who to vote off (since he thinks he pulls all the strings), and vote him off instead.  That way if he doesn’t see it coming, he probably won’t use the idol.  Or second best thing to him getting voted off would be one of his brainless, do-nothing groupies to go.

Your e-mail brought a smile to my face, Nora.  It’s so funny that you mention Bo calling Ciera "little one."  My boyfriend calls me that a lot.   I just love it!  I agree about Ciera. I think she is beautiful.  I am not one to gush over kids but she is really adorable.  She reminds me of my niece.

I think Taylor needs a stool softener.

I saw that episode.  It was so great to see Theo on there.  "The Middle" is one of my favorite shows.

I was watching a commercial the other day with a man that looked familiar to me.  Then I remembered him from Days.  He had a recurring role and played an attorney (Victor’s maybe?) and I think his name was Lee.  He’s an older gent. with gray hair and very distinguished looking.

Thanks for telling me what happened, Bonbon.  I recorded the show at 8:00 and watched it at 9:00.  Sometimes I fast forward parts of it so I must have fast-forwarded them talking about religion.

I really, really hope that Rob goes to Redemption Island next (though he’ll probably play the idol if he thinks he’s in danger) and that Matt beats him.  That would be awesome!  These players are so stupid.  Rob has not only played the game a few times before, but also is very good at it so why have him around any longer.

I turned on the new show "Off the Map" a couple weeks ago and one of the leads in it played the "old" Stephanie on Days. I don’t watch this show but I watched a couple minutes of it when she was on.  I always liked her as the first  Stephanie.  I thought she fit the part really well and wasn’t a cookie-cutter actress.  She had her own look and style.

I think you were referring to Cheryl as the other "better" choreographer.  Louis van Amstel may fall into that category as well as he seems to come up with complicated routines.  I think Tony is fantastic.  He is my mother’s favorite pro.
