Oh my gosh, if that was real it would probably burn like hell!!!  I know the subject matter isn’t funny, but I was LMAO watching that.

but I think it can be pretty powerful drama if done correctly. She’s now a fullblown addict and I hope Days commits to doing a realistic take.

I didn’t think they were going to take it that far with Carly’s addiction.  I thought she would just be a pill-popper, hooked on pain killers or anti-depressants.  I never even thought for a minute they would make her a cocaine addict as well.  CC is a terrific actress, IMO, and if the writing is as good as it should be, her role as a full-blown addict could give her the satisfaction of being on the road straight to next year’s Emmys, even though they decided not to renew her contract past August of this year.

Having worked in Corrections for 25 years, I can tell you that some addicts will crush whatever pill they are hooked on and snort it to get the ‘high’ quicker than they would by swallowing.  So unless they said specifically that it is cocaine, she may just have gone to the next step of crushing the pills.

Higley?  Since  I’d heard they rewrote a lot of the script since she was fired.  Or perhaps this is the way they are going to get rid of Carly…an OD?

several pills from 3 or 4 different bottles, crushed them, and snorted.  I have no clue as to the kinds of pills, but apparantly Carly knew exactly what she was doing.   I have no first hand knowledge of doing drugs, but it seemed that she went rapidly from just one pill on occassion  to a handful snorted up her nose.   I do not much like the character Carly, but I hate the idea of anyone  losing complete    control of their behavior and life.

I know I was pretty surprise,  Carly sure looked like she knew exactly what she was doing, got them all lined up in a row, then got her straw out, she looked like a pro.  those big bottles looked like over the counter stuff, but man if she stole them from the hospital all hell will break loose with that much medicine stolen!   She’s either going to go to a mental health ward to get help or die.  i dont really see anyother way to write her out.  unless jail for stealing meds.

They were pills she took from the hospital supply and I can’t see any hospital stocking cocaine.  She just snorted them to get the effect faster than swallowing them.  From what I know about addiction, she went awfully fast from becoming addicted to snorting, which is not much different than injecting.

Hospitals do stock cocaine but it’s in liquid form, a green liquid and in tiny vials.  It’s used as an anesthetic and one of our pulmonologists would use it to numb the nose and throat when he did bronchoscopies if the patient was allergic to lidocaine.  I remember how we had to dump any remaining down the drain but it had to be witnessed by another employee and documented by both.

She broke open several capsules of meds and mixed them together then snorted them. I too was shocked, but I actually think that it shows how desperate she has become for her fix.

Everything we are watching is her material.  The new writers material won’t air until August.
