I would have to say that Sami is new to the dealings of the corporate world, so it might not have occurred to her to tell Madison of the job offer she got from Kate. There is also the fact that Sami and Madison haven’t been getting along lately, not to mention that Brady had spoken to her several times about her interfenence with him and Maddy. So I am thinking that Sami felt that neither of them would want to hear about this, especially since Madison had already threatened to fire her. As far as leaving the door open–that doesn’t usually work in the corporate world.
As for Rafe, neither of them have been up front about job situations. She wasn’t happy that he was working with Carrie, which she found out from Sarrie not him, so she decided to make the decision alone.
I thought that she was named after Eugene Bradford who was on with Calliope. The actor, John de Lancie, went on to play Q on Startrek. I also thought it was spelled Gene. For a time he was "married to Marlena" when she was expecting the twins. At the time Roman was thought to be dead.
Julie was never a professional singer- it was always Doug. it’s nice to see them singing together. One couple who was brought together in real life by DOOL.
While I agree with you feelings about Sami I must point out that Rafe took his job with Carrie without talking to Sami, so they are two of a kind on making decisions without speaking to their partner.
I really don’t get a connection between a spa and amartial arts studio. I get a self defense class but a I would think it would be geared to women and definitely NOT in the lobby.
I feel it was just an excuse to show these guys shirtless.
I cannot understand why there wouldn’t have been a non compete clause in her contract. It is usually standard, especailly in the same geographical area.
Roman is a Brady, Shawn’s son. John’s mother was Colleen Brady, Shawn’s sister. Since Shawn is Sami’s grandfather, Colleen is her great aunt and John is her cousin. If EJ is John’s son, he is also Sami’s cousin.
Well Sami really did have a role model to learn to be a good mother. Marlena was MIA so much during Sami’s childhood and when she was present, her first priority staying ahead of Stefano, and falling for John. Sami’s most vivid memory of Marlena was the board room scene with John.
The most stable life Sami had was when she lived in Colo (off screen) with Marlena’s grandparents. Caroline was always supportive too but mainly by keeping the kids so Sami could conduct her schemes.
I also found it strange that she did not discuss her new job with Rafe—not to get his "Permission", but just to talk about the pros and cons. Didn’t she get mad at Rafe for working with Carrie without consulting her? Then she took the Mad World job without telling him, so this seems to be a pattern with both of them.
If this is true, then Stefano set up Ej to impregnate Sami knowing that they are related. Since John is Stefano’s brother, son of Colleen Brady who is Shawn’s sister- Sami’s grandfather. That is just wrong and really bad writing.
if I remember right, Madison ripped Sami for going to the spa because they sell Countess W products. So Why is it ok for Brady to use this place,since he owns Mad World.
Will is young and maybe the thought of this misdeed is too upsetting to talk about. Also he truly loves Rafe and maybe he is worried that Rafe will leave not only Sami but the kids too. Lord knows the kids need Rafe for structure and stability.!! leave it to Sami to mess up the best thing that she has ever had.
I don’t see why Hope had to go to Stefano at all. The IOU states something like …"the bearer of this note is to be given all the benefits that would be given Stefano DiMera." So why can’t she just take it to the judge? Everyone who is connected know the DiMeras.
I watched some of it. her house is very beautiful but guess I am in the minority but I really didn’t like Ali’s Christmas decorations at all. Gues I am tradtional, but didn’t like the white and purple trees. Thought it was too artsey for a home with children.
I really don’t see why a house would be decorated for a party in such a glitsey way –the party is one night, the holdiay lasts lonnger. Just not my cup of tea.
