I won’t go to the Annex board at all.  I wish some of the general chat about Days would be moved over here, because I was reading posts that I thought would have no spoilers in them and ended up reading names who are going to be involved in the Alice SL.  I think by those names I know who it is.  So I am just staying to this main board, because I really don’t want to be spoiled that much.  I liked not knowing that Maggie had another kid, that was a huge surprise to me and was fun to watch.  I am wondering how the whole money thing is going to go.  Because if Alice has been giving money for 20 years, she had to know earlier than this.  Why wouldn’t she tell Maggie?

Right now they have the college crowd and they are the young crowd.  I think once they get out of college and more into the work world (probably in two to three years from now) then they will look to age the others.  I think you will see small aging over the next couple years to eventually bring them into the high school crowd.  I love the actors and actresses that play theo, cierra, and sami’s twins, but I do think that in the next couple years they will have to be aged slowly to high school.  If not they will get hardly any air time.

JJ is a tough one, because they kind of need to bring him back, but at the same time there is not an age group right now for him to fit into.  Can’t have him in the same age group as Abigail, that won’t work.  Bringing him back in the Theo Cierra group wouldn’t work either, because he would be two young to effect the SL.  I think he will stay off cameras for that reason.

I thought their conversations have new things in it.  Like this last conversation Jack seemed to calm down, open up, and realize how much he might have hurt his family.  Jenn saw a new side of him that tells her maybe he has changed.  They also talked about Abigail and Chad more and Jack realized that he might have handled that really wrong, which before he was just going down the path of he needs to stop Abigail from seeing Chad.  I have not seen the repeat dialog you all are talking about.

I have thought the conversations have not repeated at all.  They all seem to be fresh and new.  The old writers did that all the time and it drove me crazy.  I sometimes thought they said the SAME lines in three conversations in a row.  But I have not seen that with the new writers.  Stories are moving at a good pace and new things are coming up in all the SLs.  Like with Jack he finally understands why everyone is upset, he has calmed down.

Now i think Jen is getting a little confused a little too much.  But we will see where this is all going.

Because I do get sleep and I have not waken up all the time when my baby cries.  If it is not my turn, I don’t always wake up.  Same with my DH, if it is not his turn, he doesn’t realize that our daughter is crying and she is IN our room.  It is why we would never in a million years sleep with our kids in our bed.  My husband has rolled over on our dog and I am sure she would roll over on our child.  Our son is sick and has night nursing and our daughter sleeps thru the night since she was 3 1/2 months old.  When we don’t have night nurses one of us has to be up at all times.  So if we go through a couple nights of that, then we do sleep when we have nurses.  Even one night of that and the next night we sleep good because we are so exhausted.  One of us will wake up the next morning and have no clue our daughter screamed in the middle of the night.  She does that sometimes and then goes right back to sleep.  She has gas issues, so sometimes it flairs up and then it is gone 5 minutes later.  So I guess that is why the SL is believable to me, since I have slept through my daughter crying in the same room as me.  Not sure why, but I guess I know when it is my turn or not my turn to get up with her.

Chloe was not going to stay married to Lucas, she didn’t love him.  I don’t think she ever did.  That was an odd pairing to begin with and that was totally bad writing.  CHloe should have dumped Lucas the minute she realized she didn’t love him and that didn’t happen.

But I know others do not.  I think he has had some bad writing at times (Kate is a prime example), but overall I like him.  Chloe was always the issue, never Danial, so I don’t think that is fair to pin that mess on him.  She is the one who married Lucas when she didn’t love him and she is the one that freaked out and slept with Phillip.

I think this is a hard situation for a guy to handle.  I mean the relationship was progressing to where they were ready to move in with each other and now all the sudden this goofball guy comes back into her life.  Lets face it, Jack was not kidnapped going to the store.  He LEFT his family to chase after a story without telling them anything.  While he was doing this he was kidnapped.  So no matter how you put it, Jack abandoned his family.  I am shocked Jenn is so quick to forgive him, I would be furious if this happened to me.

I loved Jenn and Jack together.  It was my first supercouple that I watched (I started in 88).  Jack was always nervous around Jenn and did stupid things when they were first together.  It was great back then, but the nervousness should be gone now after their history.  So like Sami who took forever to grow up, I feel like the writers have a hard time having Jack grow up.  I would love to see it happen, but not sure it will.  So time will only tell whether I will like Jenn and Jack or if they will be a bust like the last time they were on the show.

Have you ever been out of work for years and then gone back into the workforce?  Do you remember how you felt that first day?  I know several people who have been out of work for long periods of time (sometimes only months) and the first day back is extremly exhausting because you are not used to it.  Aftr several weeks you can handle more workload than you were able to handle the first day and not be as tired, but it takes time to get back into the mode of working.  Both mentally and physically.

I personally thought this SL was very realistic and shows someone going from the home into the workplace and the struggles that entails.  Along with how more families have two parents helping raising the kids and helping around the house.  I like this SL a lot and thought Ali’s portrayal was very good.  Also, you don’t think Rafe told the kids, "Mommy is sleeping, be quiet around her"  Even at that age they can grasp simple concepts like that.

He said something about surfer dude when talking about Dan.  I forget the exact line, but even my DH sitting behind me cracked up on that one.

But keep in mind this is just step one, which is filing it and notifying the defendant.  All of the other stuff that takes years has not taken place yet.  I am thinking this one is not going to trial and will be cleared up when John is not convicted and whoever stole the money has to pay it back.  So we won’t see the five year process.

I loved how Galen knew his wife needed time off from the kids, now if she can only take time off and enjoy herself instead of calling all the time.  I mean it was an overnight trip and before night came she had already talked to her kids twice.

Still love Nadia and Brandon.  They are cute and have typical relationship issues that are so normal and down to earth.

I really thought Kirstin was the bigger one here.  She is going through a lot and feels drained.  You can kind of tell by her expressions.  But she felt they needed to talk in private and not in an open place.  She is right, Farah always has awful things to say about her, but you never hear Kirstin talk about her.  Farah at the party felt Kirstin was not emotional enough, but I just think it is because Kirston is got bigger things in her life to worry about like her brother and his family.

Agreed about Farah needs to stop pushing, it is too much.

Still not a fan of Kelly, but felt a little bad for her this episode.

EJ has judges on the payroll, I doubt he would have any trouble getting a Class Action lawsuit court approval.  Plus if you think about it, many judges probably lost money, so even if it was not a paid by EJ judge, the judge might want to approve it because he lost money too.  Or talked his buddy judge who didn’t lose money into it.  If the Fed case is that tight of a case, the judge would have enough proof to approve the class action lawsuit.

I still record because I watch hardly anything live.  But I am watching the same day, maybe the next only if I am really busy and watch no TV.  But it is now the first program I watch on my DVR, not the last one.

I was just thinking how much I liked her now.  How they were showing real woman who had to work and raise kids.  Not the calm Hope, but the mother that is adjusting to working and raising FOUR kids.  It has to be stressful and frantic.  I also love how Maddy and her knew each other in 3rd grade and it is plausable too, since Colorado was off camera.  The only odd part is the junior executive.  But I almost feel like they are making that position an executive assistant.  Seems like that is what it is.  Or always most someone in training.  We will see, but overall I am liking the SL and can’t wait for Kate to find out.
