Am I the only one who doesn’t like Daniel? I find him smarmy and creepy. And he’s not that stand-up of a guy. Even from the beginning, when they brought him on as this surfer-dude-doctor he was hitting on all the nurses.
He has a fling with Kate, which is icky by itself. Then he moves on to Chelsea, who must be less than half his age. They didn’t have sex, but still…ewwww. Then he has an affair with Chloe when she was married to Lucas, and when he finds out she got pregnant by (his daughter’s husband) Philip he dumps Chloe like he has never done anything wrong in his life. Now he’s in the middle of Jennifer and Jack’s business. I think if my husband was gone and I thought he had abandoned me and I divorced him, then he came back and said he was being held hostage, I would tell Daniel to back off for a while so I could figure out what to do. And if he was a real man with real integrity, he would do that. But no, he lovvvvves Jennifer so he can’t let her make her own decision. Maybe that’s why he goes for the little girls.
And as a side note, he sounds like he’s talking through a handful of mashed potatoes.
But I know others do not. I think he has had some bad writing at times (Kate is a prime example), but overall I like him. Chloe was always the issue, never Danial, so I don’t think that is fair to pin that mess on him. She is the one who married Lucas when she didn’t love him and she is the one that freaked out and slept with Phillip.
I think this is a hard situation for a guy to handle. I mean the relationship was progressing to where they were ready to move in with each other and now all the sudden this goofball guy comes back into her life. Lets face it, Jack was not kidnapped going to the store. He LEFT his family to chase after a story without telling them anything. While he was doing this he was kidnapped. So no matter how you put it, Jack abandoned his family. I am shocked Jenn is so quick to forgive him, I would be furious if this happened to me.
He has grown on me and I thought he and Jen were good together. I agree with the other poster that the writers were more to blame. I hope they keep him around and with Jen too.
and I just find it hysterical that he was so "in love" with Chole (and professed his love even after they’d broke up) and then a few months later, he’s "in love" with Jennifer…What happens in a few months from now? Who is Daniel going to love then?
And he made me want to hurl when he was slobbering all over Chelsa. Ick! I sooooooo agree with your comments on him Scarlett!
She wasn’t married to Lucas when she and Daniel were fooling around was she? I thought they were still engaged but not wed.
Daniel and Chloe started when she was engaged to Lucas. Then there was the explosion that hurt Lucas and Chloe made a deal with God that she’d marry Lucas if he lived. Even though she didn’t love Lucas she married him and tried to stay away from Daniel but he kept pushing her. Kate suspected and that’s when she tried to poison her. If Kate would have stayed out of it Lucas would never have known since Chloe was trying to be faithful to Lucas.

That’s DOOL for ya! lol I don’t understand how any of ’em can be soooo in love w/ one person one moment, and then sooo in love w/ another, the next. smh.
happened too quickly, IMO. It was obvious that Jen still had feelings for Jack, and that she was angry and lonely, which made her extremely vulnerable; but, still very much in love with Jack. Daniel knew that from the start, but he still went after her, even though he was still supposedly pining away for Chloe. To me, you just don’t go after somebody who is still in love with their ex, and yet that’s exactly what Daniel did. He may be taking his anger out on Jack now that he’s back and should realize when he told Jack the other day, "I love Jennifer and ‘Jennifer loves me’," that, in all probability, that’s just not going to be the case. The best thing for BOTH of these guys would be to back off and let Jennifer weigh the situation herself. Clearly, she is confused and conflicted by Jack’s return; but, if she truly loved Daniel, and ONLY Daniel, she would tell Jack to solve his own problems with Abigail and not to involve her. Remember, she came across Jack yesterday and decided to "go someplace and talk". I don’t think Jack had any expectations of that. That told me that she is having second thoughts where Daniel is concerned.
Chloe was not going to stay married to Lucas, she didn’t love him. I don’t think she ever did. That was an odd pairing to begin with and that was totally bad writing. CHloe should have dumped Lucas the minute she realized she didn’t love him and that didn’t happen.
man-whore of late, "so in love with Taylor" and now trying to get Nicole back in his life…but I think that maybe just because he needs a woman on his arm for his public personna for running for office, (like so many politicians have done).
As much as I like Nicole, her life is an open book, there’s is not going to be away to hide her past. It’s not like she is a good role model for a politician’s wife (even IF that politician is the devil EJ himself (said with love)). I mean he is like one of these real Chicago politicians of today’s headlines in his swarminess…who would in their right mind vote for EJ, no matter how much money he throws at the Salemites to "improve" their lives? And Nicole, no matter how much she doth protest, she will come around in a heart beat for the money and life-style that EJ can give her.
