Be careful. Something could be fractured and you don’t know it. I cracked a bone in my knee and didn’t know it for months, just complained of pain and stiffness after a fall. Fractured my foot TWICE . The first time when a patient cart rolled over my foot in the ER with a patient on it. I worked for 3 days before seeing a doctor and the last time was a few months ago when I tripped over the vacuum cleaner cord. Took them a week to diagnose (foot fractures don’t always show up until swelling goes down or the bone starts to heal) but I had 4 breaks in 3 bones. Also with a sore spot on your head you must have whacked that pretty hard so be on the lookout for signs of a concussion.
The idea to allow kids to visit in hospitals started in the 80’s or 90’s. I remember where I worked they would allow kids to visit on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas then they started allowing them all the time but not in intensive care or pediatrics. Also a lot of hospitals are going back to strict visiting hours for intensive care and EJ SHOULD be in an ICU so I’m wondering why the lax visiting hours with hoards of people running in and out.
Yeah, I like Hallmark movies. They seem to do the premiere’s on Saturday nights so I’m always checking out what’s on Hallmark at the beginning of the week.
I was watching You Lucky Dog and planning on watching Hatchi which came on after but it was storming and we lost the signal 5 minutes before the end of the first movie. They were in the hearding competition and she was going into round 2 and I didn’t get to see what happened. We figured Lucky won but I’m thinking since they mentioned no swelling in his foot/leg maybe something happened there and he finished despite his pain and even though he lost everyone would be impressed and he’d get the trophy/prize anyway.
Anybody who’s seen it care to tell me how it ended?
Stephanie and Ian got into St. Mary’s records and saw where it said Daniel wasn’t the father. When Ian got back in to change the results they said Daniel was the father so they know they were changed but why she’s so obsessed to find out who did it is beyond me.
As my husband always says….Those are explanations but not excuses. Yes they may explain why they act the way they do but it doesn’t excuse their behavior They’re adults now and the time to stop blaming everyone else for their choices has passed. Every bad thing that’s happened to both of them since they reached 18 has been brought on by their own decisions and actions.
Sami had love when she was growing up. She might have had a dysfunctional family but so did Eric and he turned out OK. Come to think of it everyone in Salem except for the original Horton children of Mickey, Bill, Addie, Marie and Tommy had normal "Leave it to Beaver" childhoods. The dysfunction started with Julie and her parents ignoring her. Sami’s had love as an adult but always ruins any chance of it lasting due to her actions. The only one who wanted to stick by her was Lucas and she ended up divorcing him to Save The Family.
Nicole had a lousy childhood with a father that abused her and put her into prostitution and porn and a mother that looked the other way but she’s also had love since adulthood. Eric was one who loved her deeply but greed got in her way and she messed that up. She’s never happy with what she’s got and always looking over the fence for greener grass.
I haven’t watched an episodes since the day Sami found out about EJ. I record them but after reading the boards and Prevuze I decide if I want to watch or not. I actually think I wouldn’t mind if they took the show to a 1 hour faster paced weekly show over daily.
John Clarke’s been gone for a while and they’ve had other Mickey’s and explained him being off screen for years. The decision to have Mickey die came as a shock to everyone even John Clarke so I’m thinking the writers had something in mind for Maggie when they made that decision.
After reading that it was suggested in an NBC survey I’m wondering if this was the reason they decided to have Mickey die. They couldn’t have them separate since they were so much in love and the fans wouldn’t stand for that but having Mickey gone and then Maggie developing a relationship with Victor would be more acceptable.
