Suzanne said she was totally surprised to get the juicy story of Maggie and Victor but loving it. She was excited to hear that they have a name, "Magic." John said so that means I’m the "ic" in that name? lol But they are having a great time with the front burner story. Suzanne thought all she’d be used for was a babysitter for the younger crowd. I’m glad they are not just being used as babysitters!
Kudos to both! And also the writers for not allowing these talented vets to languish into obscurity.
the veterans of the show are having more and more of a story line – I love, Love, LOVE it! More! More! More of Maggie, Victor, Stephano, and yes, even Kate and Vivy! And while you are at it…bring back Marlena and John!
are true to form, and a lot of his great one-liners could very well be adlibs on his part. That was sooooo funny … "so that means I’m the ic." LMAO! Love the slow progression they are taking with Maggie and Victor, and can’t wait to see where or just how far they will take it.
to marriage after Victor takes care of Vivy by properly disposing of her of course – (then they can bring back Ivan for Vivy). And another thing, did they ever explain away Ivan…or just leave him hanging out some where?
wondering what happened to Ivan. Would love to see him come back. I don’t think they’ve explained his absence at all. Has anyone seen an explanation?
This by far is one of the more intriguing stories on Days. I am so glad to see that they are shelving the older actors. Finally giving them some juicy stories, YAY!!!!!
I can’t see him wanting to hang around Vivian anymore. And I’m sure not going to miss Gus. I think he is probably who the phrase "Gloomy Gus" was coined for. It fits him to a tee.
am i the only who isn’t excited about the posibility of these two romancing it up? ugh! don’t get me wrong, i love the maggie and victor characters (and i’m glad the writers are wising up, and giving the vets more airtime/bigger SLs on the show), but maggie is way too good for the likes of victor. he didn’t deserve caroline, and he absolutely doesn’t deserve maggie! i bet maggie’s late husband is rolling over in his grave! if the writers want to give maggie and victor another crack at love, fine! but do it w/ other characters!
p.s. i’m still absolutely NOT happy with the way my beloved vivian character is being puked on! she deserves better!
of mine for as long as I can remember, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not loving her getting her just and well deserved deserts…much the same as I’d like Sami to get hers too. And yes, I know Stephano and Victor and Kate are baddies and deserve some retribution too – but right now it’s Vivian’s turn in the barrel. And this may just teach her to stay out of the "graveyards" at least until Halloween! ‘)
Also, I think Victor has (in spite of that werid little scene with Stephano on the pier the other day which the writers have not explained but may in the future unless they forget to explain that one) – is redeeming himself a bit – and I think most of us like "ol’ Victor " and his great lines he has been delivering of late, and we like his tete-a-tete with Maggie. Doesn’t mean they have to get together, but it could blossom in to a really neat long term friendship between the two more so than it is now.
Sorry for the backwards answer to your posting, long day, getting tired and it’s only 7 p.m. ish…
with the good guys because the audience ends up complaining that they are ‘boring’! So, I’ll take the small bit of good guy in Victor when he’s with Maggie because there will be times that they don’t agree with each other. Also, I think Maggie has now developed a strong enough back bone to put Victor in his place if need be. I love seeing the long term characters get their own story and not have to be stuck as extras in the young/newbies stories. Atleast Victor isn’t chasing after someone who is 30 years younger than he is!
As to Vivian, she deserves all she is getting and more! Go Brady!
Maybe whoever lets Vivian out will get her to let go of whatever she is holding over Victor’s head and will allow him to get a divorce from her. After all, better to be alive without Victor than not to be alive at all.
Vivian’s not holding anything over Victor’s head. He married her of his hown free will by telling her he’d marry her if she left Carly alone. Victor did this of his own will because Bo told him if he didn’t control Vivian he’d kill her. So in a round about way, Victor’s protecting Bo from himself.
It’s the fact that they are so different that makes it so entertaining. Usually when two "good" characters get together, it instantly becomes boring. The friction between Maggie’s goodness and Victor’s dark side is creating wonderful chemistry, and I can see it providing story lines for a long time to come.
Suzanne and John indicated they couldn’t wait to read the next script. She said he has the best lines and delivers them with the right touch. So, I’m guessing that it is not an ad lib but written dialogue but with enough ‘meat’ for him to sink his teeth into. KC also never expected the positive reaction to the Maggie/Victor pairing that they got so they are going with it.
