ParticipantI think she’s the best of the teens.

Participantthis on a previous thread. It’s the best style I’ve seen on her.

Participantcalled his father “Dad” yesterday sounds like a first step in that direction.

Participantthen reconsider. This has all the trappings of a high drama and I’d bet viewers would be tuning in. Not to mention the message that heroin addiction can and is happening to anyone and has crept into anywhere America.

Participantdid you see where Ali S. has a book out now? This girl is certainly becoming an empire!

Participantto really make a statement with this SL they need to go all the way. This is on my local news almost every night – the exploding problem of heroin overdose starting with pain pill addiction. I for one would love to see a serious attempt to demonstrate how quickly and easily and devastatingly one can become hooked. If Days makes a quick recovery of this I feel they are cheating both the viewer and this alarming issue.

Participantit was John made up and the voice of dad was a dead ringer’s for Drake’s. Incredible casting. But so far not the relationship I would hope for and at this point with so much dragged out history on just who is John’s father, I feel Days has inevitably disappointed.

Participantrather naive. And definitely none too bright in this case. And that girl – “don’t you trust me?” Oh sure, he’s known her for five minutes! Enough to confess murder!

Participanthow much of his performance may be due to direction. Perhaps they want him to be the strong silent type with his painful background/trained hitman resulting in little show of emotion. I just can’t see a veteran actor suddenly not being able to act or unable to pick up a character.
Omar Shariff was frustrated in his role of Dr. Zhivago that he vented with director David Lean on why he couldn’t let loose more in his scenes. Lean told him he wanted Dr. Z to merely be an observer in the part and thus more contained in his acting.casey
Participantthe benefit of the doubt and believe it’s a combo of good direction and being up for the role.

Participantmore appealing since he first came to Salem. I doubt we’ll ever see a big warmup but yes, the Bronson comparison is applicable. I would like to see the connection with Rafe and Gabi grow and eventually an interesting lady for him.

Participantsmashing I thought. And hair and makeup great too.

Participantto see more of Shawn. He’s been way back burner.

ParticipantKellie Martin was sister to Chris Burke, a “high functioning” Downs who was mainlined through school. He was a treat to watch and married his co-star. I don’t know if they are still hitched.
I also enjoyed the SL with Kellie and Chad Lowe as one of the first HIV characters.casey
Participantthe character will not be killed off. I think there was too much invested in the Chad/Abby combo and their son. Will be interesting to see if there will be instant chemistry between BF and his new lady.
