I felt Brooke was superfluous, just eye candy. I mean who on earth couldn’t ask those obvious questions? If they can save a salary why not and especially if the ratings are down. I doubt Brooke is raking in new fans.
Also maybe if the number of seaons were cut down it would be more attractive to viewers. Once you start saturating the airways with these reality shows it’s not fresh any more. Just like with Idol.

for the explicit scenes except for society is increasingly headed that way (can you say Miley Cyrus?) I remember my father years ago saying it wouldn’t be too long before we’d get full nudity on tv. Days it seems to me wants to both push the envelope and attract younger viewers who have grown up with this and likely think it isn’t “hot” unless it’s show me steamy. Kids today with everything laid out for them (forgive the pun!) have little experience in using the imagination.
I remember how uncomfortable I was in my younger days watching less explicit scenes with my mother. And that was nothing compared with what we currenty view. Not for the better in my book.

unlikable in that film. I found it extremely depressing but Davis’ performance is definitely topnotch. If you want to see her in a more watchable movie check out Jezebel.

when she recently lableled Nicole psycho/narcissistic-something and claimed she was incapable of true love. But having said that, Nicole’s entire behavior of late has been 100% on the path of selfless caring for Eric. She went to the nth degree to clear his name, even knowing that he loved her. These actions only spoke to giving him a choice. Now I realize it would be extremely tempting for her to ditch the evidence once Eric claimed he had already made his decision to leave the priesthood and be with Nicole.
But for her to destroy the goods and just blow it away does not speak to pure love. Both he and his family/friends and the Church will never know the truth and therefore he cannot be fully redeemed.
Plus it will in the end destroy this relationship. In one sense I’m glad if it ultimately sends Eric back to his vocation. But I am extremely disappointed in the writing. I as a viewer was led to believe Nicole had truly begun to change.

No punishment is too severe for this snippy pop tart. It kills me how everyone caves to her and I just want to see her suffer and then outta Salem., which does not seem to be imminent. I am so hoping JJ’s appearance at Daniel’s will snuff out her latest blackmail. Still waiting for some fireworks or shockers in Feb sweeps.

before she went on that dangerous mission to get the evidence and at that point it sure didn’t look like she would have turned back had she known his choice. She’s now letting herself believe it will make no difference. However, where she is truly being selfish is even if Eric chose her with all the cards revealed, she’s suppressing his exoneration. Eric deserves that and Kristen and Chyka need to pay.
Wanna bet she’ll finally be about to spill the truth just as Eric finds out?

a real disappointment for me since Bo left. The writing for her has been off the track and places her in secondary category. It is truly unrealistic to imagine Bo being away all this time and we’re reduced to her daughter acting out. I have no idea how a new romance will go but Days really has to address Bo’s absence once and for all.

I can’t imagine the Waltons without him as the dad. And enjoyed his stint on Days. Have not heard if he died suddenly or had been ill. The other priest (not Timothty) is bland compared to Fr. Matt.
    RW – rest in peace.

Eric will return to the priesthood. If he finds out Nicole kept this info from him I cannot see the relationship continuing. Meanwhile, if Nicole really has changed for the better she will tell him. I do believe she will initially try and convince herself Eric chose this path irregardless of being cleared – and he will do and say a lot to uphold this – but she has to eventually realize keeping mum on the evidence is not only plain wrong but a huge trust issue that will in the end only be destructive.
Plus, wouldn’t suppressing the evidence let Kristin and Chyka off the hook?

what a “coincidence” with timing when Nicole has the goods to clear his name. The question is will she or won’t she reveal the evidence? As for Eric, you can’t unring a bell.

was his stupidity to leave Nicole alone with this dangerous dude. Especially the way she was trigger happy.
