the hopping around in those scenes. It’s an actor tool, among the many tools good actors employ.  It enhances their scenes and credibility of the moment.  It’s not required; however, many great, famous actors use them.  I think Chad did a fantastic job in these scenes, showing his impatience; chomping at the bit; being majorly concerned for Melanie, as her boyfriend; and frustration at being somewhat restrained in his desperate efforts to get to Melanie.  I usually pick up on – – and have appreciation for – – those things, having done a lot of acting in my life, even a little directing.  It is the main reason I watch any soap at all, lol.  Certain actors are what keep me watching.

so sweet of you to reply.  I agree with you about Madison being one of the fatalities.

I just read your spoilers on the other thread.  Wow!  They are awesome.  Thank you sooo much for writing them.

What a relief to read that Melanie will be having scenes with Nick before she leaves.  To me, that means she will most likely be rescued from Andrew!

A small afterthought about my previous guess as to how Bo and company know to head for the warehouse and tunnels:  Before the explosion, I think Chad gives Bo a quick call, after Melanie calls him (from the mysteriously obtained phone, lol)!

You are right; this cliffhanger sounds really good!

I totally loved your parody of EJ, Lucas, Sami, etc.  Hilarious!  That was fun to read.

After today’s clues, I can picture this in my mind:  While EJ is in an ankle bracelet, alone in his apartment, all of the others, except Melanie, Gabi, Andrew and Chad are at social events.  Some are at Brady and Madison’s wedding.  I don’t know how that happened, but I don’t think it will transpire, because Madison is slated to leave Days, also.

In my imagination, the elevator, tunnel and catwalk goes like this:  Andrew has dragged Melanie to a warehouse that has an elevator and a catwalk.  I think he knows exactly where he is going with her.  He drags her down the catwalk, then onto the elevator, which leads to the tunnels.  (As you said, Pattie, they are probably the tunnels Lexie had been in.  The thought flashed through my mind, but I couldn’t bear to consider that horrible fate for Melanie.)

The phone call is a very important clue, because I read that Melanie calls Chad to tell him where she is.  I haven’t a clue as to where she finds a phone nor gets an opportunity to call him (???).  Anyway, Chad comes rushing to the warehouse, runs down the catwalk, and finds the elevator and tunnels.  That is where the clue of Chad in tunnel #2 comes in.  Chad is running down that tunnel.  Andrew, meanwhile, has dragged Melanie down tunnel #3.

I don’t know how Gabi finds them.  Maybe she caught up with them before Andrew even got to the warehouse.  Andrew must have both Melanie and Gabi hostage, at this point, because he has chained them to the pipes (from one of the clues).

Then the explosion happens, where the debris falls upon them.  It also falls on Chad in tunnel #2 (debris clue).  Possibly the toxic gases in the tunnel caused the explosion, but I don’t know.

The wedding members and other partygoers must have heard the explosion.  The ballroom must have been very close to the warehouse, and they scramble toward the area, because they fear Andrew has taken Melanie there.  (I’m probably giving them too much credit for sensing that Melanie is there.)  Everyone who has a "stunt double" in the clues scrambles to save Melanie!  There is running, jumping onto the catwalk, climbing, falling or hanging from loosened boards, due to damage from the explosion.  Chad is totally frantic, trying to get to Melanie and also has debris residue on him (from clues).  The show closes in the cliffhanger.  Ta-da!  LOL.

I know it’s stupid, but that’s what I envisioned from the clues, from what I could put together.

P.S.  I totally apologize for this having been a long, long post!

Casey; well said.  The sweeps and celebrations were, indeed, special.

I guess a lot of us have our favorite actors to watch on the show.

To me, it seems one of the reasons for strange shifts in DOOL storylines could be the result of problematic contract negotiations; or an actor deciding to leave, which is going on right now.

Sometimes I think I, or someone on this site, could probably write better material, lol.  Even then, I figure not everyone would always like our creations.

Many kudos to you guys for making this site peaceful and for respecting each others’ opinions!  It is noticeable to someone new like myself; and it’s good to be able to include my view.

LOL LOL!  Oh, and Gabi gets washed down a mudslide.  "Oh my hair!  Oh my mascara!  What have I done?"

I enjoyed your version much better than the show!  It was very entertaining.

think Ian saw the shooting and is framing EJ with the planted gun powder and gloves.  He may be shielding Kate, or he may have no motive except to ruin EJ so he (Ian) can be more powerful in Salem.  I could be wrong, but I think he was gloating to EJ recently about how powerful they both were in Salem.

figure that the warehouse with the catwalk involves Melanie and her captor, Andrew, plus certain Salemites (especially Chad) chasing Andrew down the catwalk, trying to rescue Melanie.  As for the ballroom, I haven’t a clue.

One thing, I wish there were some kind of clue that Melanie survives the kidnapping.  I just think she deserves to leave the show with some dignity and still alive.

is about Nicole and Daniel I don’t like:  Daniel never seems to be that into her, and he keeps dismissing her, if I’m not mistaken.  Even before they got together and there were only hints of their association, I sort of felt something was off — lack of chemistry, I think.  I, too, like Nicole best with EJ.  They play off of each other so well in their scenes.

action.  Everyone seems to be just standing around.  I hope they have a lot of coffee on hand while hanging out at the station.

smirky expression.  I thought his smirkiness was amusing at first, getting up in EJ’s face.  But you guys are right.  It is almost predictable what expression Will is going to wear each day, at least for a while.

I also think Will is trying to "be" EJ.  He seems to worship EJ’s lifestyle, luxury cars and apartments, and lots of money, no matter if he has to turn into a criminal.  I don’t think he knows right from wrong, sadly.

sweet and nice.  Thank you very much for the welcome!    I’m glad someone else noticed that about Marlena.  Good point about her turning around and overdoing the mushiness with John, lol.  I agree.

wouldn’t have opted to raise Peter Reckell’s salary, instead of cutting it 45%, given his long-term tenure and the status of his character on the show.  I, too, can’t imagine Hope without Bo, and I hope they don’t make him Stefano’s killer.  He deserves to go out with a lot of dignity and honor.
