I didn’t much care for the book but this has me interested so far. I just hope it doesn’t go off on one of his tangents and then go nowhere like a lot of his recent work has done.
I didn’t notice if he is the screen writer. Maybe if not, it might be okay. I’m liking it so far.

Why did Bernardi have the razor raised up high like that like he was going to stab Rafe instead of dismember him? That didn’t make any sense at all. Of course, Sami would not have had such a good reason to shoot him if he were just holding it in his hand, like he reasonably would have been doing. That was definitely one of those things that makes you walk away shaking your head in disbelief.
And now that Hope knows it was a razor, and he could hardly have been attempting to kill him with a razor, why hasn’t someone brought up the question of what he was actually going to do. If he was going to kill him, it would probably have to be by slitting his throat (which would take several minutes for him to bleed out), not trying to plunge something with a blunt tip into his chest.
I think it’s pretty sad that we have to be reduced to having only three other soaps to go up against to finally win. Where were these awards before? Well, at least we know Days is the best of four anyway.
And Chandler certainly deserved his. What a career that guy has in front of him. I don’t think there was any chance for Sonny going up against him because he had so much more screen time. It’s a shame that everybody who really deserves an award can’t get one.
Thanks to the miracle of prednisone, I am just about back to normal. Still a little pain in my wrist but at least I can use it. That was one weird thing. I was supposed to have a nerve block before they did my shoulder surgery but it numbed my arm and hand but not my shoulder. Then, when it wore off, I had the most horrible pain you can imagine. It was so bad I couldn’t even touch my arm, anywhere. The slightest movement was excruciating. The best I could do was sit in the recliner all day (and night) with it propped up on pillows and try not to move it.
The orthopedic surgeon, the anesthesiologist (who administered it) and the neurologist, were all baffled as to what it could have been or what to do about it. (Note to doctors, everywhere: not a good thing to say in front of your patient that you have no idea what’s wrong or what to do about it.)
Anyway, after five days of immobility, super-strength pain killers (morphine) and the steroids, I’m about 85% better. At least I’m out of the sling and can type again. :o) (Lots of catching up to do.)
Thanks so much for everybody’s concern and well wishes. It meant a lot to me. And it was frustrating to not be able to convey that any sooner.
was a little unrealistic. I believe. reL priest would do all he could to minister to Kristin, in spite of what he believes her motives to be. He should be striving to "bring her to God."
