ParticipantI want that girl’s boyfriend to beat the crap out of him first and remove that smirk off his puss.

ParticipantYou can’t be fired when you have already quit. If he said he wasn’t going to re-sign at the end of his contract, he essentially quit. TPTB just allowed him to “quit” a little sooner.
I just hope he doesn’t regret it. You can always go back to school (if, in fact, that is actually what he intends to do, questionable according to his comments) but you can’t always get a stable job acting like he has/had.

Participantand give her a good paddling!

ParticipantThat smacks of sensationalism to me. Like justwondering said, it is very common to be let go once you have given a notice. It looks to me like this article was just a means to “stir the pot” a little and create an outrage among fans.
Chandler said he appreciated being let out of his contract early so, what’s the uproar? Although, if he’s leaving, he should really think long and hard about that. How many successful soap actors actually go on to something bigger and better.
I think some of the Days people (Hope, John, Bo, Marlene, etc.) have dipped their toe in the “better opportunities” pool and found it to be not so successful. Deciding to stay where they are and collect a regular paycheck makes sense to me.

Participantlike his father. And I had forgotten Gloria was married to Alan, it’s been a long marriage for Hollywood. I always loved her, even before she was on Days. Her style of singing was so mesmerizing because she never moved.
As to Miley… What a shame. Another example of a child star not being able to handle her fame as she grows up…or I should say, “can’t grow up.” Even for the VMA’s, where you expect to see stuff like that, it was way over the top. I’m glad to see other stars coming out against her behavior. Maybe she’ll “get it” now.

Participantwas to show Nicole beginning to appreciate just what Eric’s calling entails and to understand his dedication to it. And you could tell she is starting to appreciate just how he feels about all of this and how hard he’s trying to live up to his calling and convictions.
I thought the pub scene was very powerful. The hospital scene was only to lead up to their heart-to-heart. And I loved how Eric was holding her hand. We’ve never seen them have any bodily contact before and it showed just how much he cherishes her friendship.

Participantwas that was NOT an official certified birth certificate. First of all, they are on that colored paper that makes them difficult to reproduce which I believe every state uses now. Second, they never put foot prints on a certified certificate of birth. That was more like one a hospital would issue. And since he wasn’t born in a hospital…well…just another Days gaffe.

Participant1. The red streak…it’s dyed…permanently. The only way to remove it is to bleach it out. I know…I’ve done one. :o)
2. EJ and Sami… First I was for them, then against, then for, then against. Right now, I’m perfectly happy with them together. Although I don’t see the sparks that were originally there any more. But that’s okay.
3. Teresa? More awful than all the ones you named put together. But she’s one of those characters you love to hate. I guess that makes the show better with her than without. I just hope she ends up in jail and doesn’t escape punishment like all the other Salemites.
4. JJ? I can’t say I see any great acting yet. It’s easy to play a role like that because it’s something you can really get your teeth into. Let’s see if he can play any emotions other than surly. Actually, I can’t even buy it when he’s sucking up to Jen because he’s so transparent. Maybe that’s the way he’s playing it though. I’ll wait and see. After my original assessment of Brady (the first) when he first came on and was such an SOB, I learned my lesson not to judge to quickly.
5. Yes, I’m finding Kate much more palatable now. Heck, she even wore a decent dress on Friday and wasn’t loaded down with chains, etc. Amazing what love can do, huh?
6. No comment yet on Rafe and Jordon. But at least it’s something new. I was leaning just a tad toward a Rafe and Hope paring. Although I think it’s going to be extremely difficult to pair Hope with anybody at this point and make it work.
7. You’re so right about Anne being right about Jen. She’s kind of in the same boat as Teresa for me. Annoying as hell but she does add spice to the show. And I loved the way JJ told her off. Sort of a case of the lesser of two evils. To bad they couldn’t have thrown Teresa into that mix also rolling her eyes and saying, “Whatever!”

ParticipantWhat actor would leave a role he had just won an Emmy for? The only reason I could understand was that he didn’t want to be in show business anymore.

Participantin the daughter department. First Eve, now Theresa.

Participantthat was Chad’s mother, the judge, who was the killer last night. She really gets around. I have seen her in so many things. I think the last one was Grimm.

ParticipantI guess she got her endometriosis cured, huh? Good for her.

Participantbut they didn’t say hardly anything at all. Only that the investigation was halted. I don’t know what that means except they must have decided it was, indeed, a suicide. Maybe there will be more tonight.
Yes, it’s a shame, I really liked him too. I wonder how they will write him out of the show.
On a similar note, I wish they’d quite beating that Corry Monteif (sp?) dead horse. They’re making him out to be such a saint instead of the druggie he was.

ParticipantI got my iPad directly frrom Apple and at that time, that was the cheapest…$499. No tax or shipping either.
Bonbon
Participantprice-wise. All I can say is I’m very happy with my iPad. My first experience with an Apple product and I am pleased. It has some small things you can’t do (or I just haven’t figured out how to do them) but, all-in-all, for what I do, it fills the bill. I have a friend who uses it for EVERYTHING, work, personal, etc. I’m amazed at how much he has on there.
That said, I think (in my case anyway), if I were buying one now, I think I’d probably lean more toward getting the convertible type (can’t remember what they are called) where you can disconnect from the keyboard and it’s a pad. I think I’d still go for an Apple. Since I don’t have a laptop, that would fill the bill for both. But, that’s a personal choice.
