Participantthe right size for the whole family!
I had to laugh at Bill wanting a big dog. That would be a sight. He’s such a hoot. We’d see the dog walking Bill.

ParticipantI don’t mind left-overs at all either. It was things you can’t save/use/freeze/combine and have to throw away I was talking about, i.e. lettuce, bread (don’t like defrosted bread), milk (I can’t use a whole quart of milk before it goes bad because I can’t drink it because of lactose intollerance but still use it to cook/bake with), and things like that. And things you have to buy in packages too large for just person.

ParticipantI thought they were the hands of a young man (probably the only one how would allow all those maggots to crawl all over him.

ParticipantI can’t believe this, What is going on that they are voting out the better dancers and keeping the worst? I’m beginning to think this show is fixed. Not that I’m sad to see Bristol still on but, really, she should have been gone three shows ago. You can tell that nobody was more shocked that Mark.
But Fox? I thought he should have gone to the final three. He’s better than Bristol, the young boy, and the football player. (Where is my brain this morning that I can’t remember names?) I guess it proves that football players have more fans than basketball. And every single person in Alaska must be voting for Bristol (which probably isn’t too far fetched).
Note: I think everybody expected Jennifer to be a shoo-in but it looks now like Brandy will really give her a run for her money. I hope so because I’d really like to see Maks win one for a change instead of coming in second for a fourth time.

ParticipantHe was a guest singer on the show.

ParticipantSince I have plenty or room to store stuff, I buy a lot at Costco. Things like TP, paper towels, laundry soap and softener, dog food, vitamins, cleaning products and anything that won’t go bad. The anal person that I am, I made a spread sheet and entered the prices of all these products vs. what I have to pay at Publix (like Safeway out west). I find that I save an enormous amount by shopping there.
But…I have a WalMart near me and a Publix right across the street from it and while I find that WM usually has lower prices, they often don’t carry some products I use (specifically my favorite, blueberry jam) AND everything comes in large sizes, which again goes back to the original gripe of this post. I just can’t use that much, so I end up going to Publix and paying more.

ParticipantThey just adopted a new puppy too and it is the cutest thing. They think she is part Chihuahua and Terrier and said she looks like one of the gremlins, Mugwai, but since that was too hard to pronounce, they named her Maggie. She is just soooooo cute. Well, not as cute as Rascal.

ParticipantI’m like Pammy, now I want a puppy too.

ParticipantIt’s possible to get some kind of critter come in.
I have to close the door at night or Frostie will be out there barking at every thing she sees or hears. And the neighbors aren’t very happy about that. We have a gazillion little anole lizzards that she barks at. The lady next door has rats on her roof even though I told her to put blocks in her gutter drains so they can’t get up there. And, of course, my infamous frogs. She barks at car door closings, anybody within two blocks talking or, I swear, if the winds blows.
I don’t have to worry about gators because my back yard is walled in but we do have coons and possums. Also armadillos, skunks and a plethora of snakes. But I’ve had a doggie door for 26 years and never had a visitor. (Watch what happens tonight after saying that.)

ParticipantWhen I was at the craft fair the other day, a little austic boy came in and when he turned around, he looked exactly like Theo, could have been his twin. I thought, oh-oh, did I somehow get transferred to Salem?

ParticipantI’m convinced of it. I’ve never had dogs before that would wake me up but when I got Frostie…a different story entirely. It was okay when I was working but once I retired and wanted to sleep a little later…uh-uh.
They don’t sleep in bed with me (I can’t stand anybody or anything in my bed) but have a great big round chair next to the bed where they sleep. The last couple of days I’ve have bronchitis and was really, really tired and wanted to sleep late but, nope! At exactly 6:45 (and you can set your watch by it), I hear "woof." Then I get about another minute and it’s, "woof…woof" and the longer I try to ignore it, the more intense she gets. The only solution is to get up and let her out. I’m not sure if it’s her need to go out and pee or she just wants me up with her. [Groan] God bless the little sweethearts.

ParticipantThey (Kleinfeld’s) say they now carry plus sizes, but, and this really burns me, they are only up to about a 20. Supposedly plus size is now size 12 and up. Give me a break. Up un til my surgery I was a size 12 and all my friends told me I was too skinny and to go eat something. Yet I was considered a plus size!
Why can’t they at least carry 10 or so really large size dresses so these women can feel what the wedding gown will be for them without lacing them up in back with inserts, etc. which must make them feel like a stuffed pig.
Better to put them in a dress that’s too big than waaay too small. You’re not going to get a larger women in a size 14 or 16. That just ludicrous. I would love to see a size 30 girl go in there and they put her in a dress that actually fits her. I have not seen that happen, even once.
Back to the subject, I was very disappointed Gretchen won. I thought Mondo was a much better designer. I wonder if it had anything to do with his HIV status (which would be a shame).
As for JS, they must have gotten her at one of her "up" moments. It seems like lately she’s been doing a lot of yo-yoing. She was definitely not at her best on this show.

Participantshe wasn’t on it when she died. They only thing she was receiving was oxygen. They can’t put them on life support once they’ve passed. Besides, I believe a heart is viable for up to 24 hours. I’ve heard of hearts being flown across the country and still being used. I had a hard time believing that she had damaged lungs and she wasn’t on a ventilator. DeLan?
As for rolling her out without being covered by a sheet, I don’t think they do that anymore because then, to on-lookers, it is a dead body but if they don’t cover it up, they just think the person is sleeping or unconscious.
But I wondered about the heart transplant. They stated earlier that her heart was damaged in the accident. I can’t believe that they’d take a chance with a damaged heart for a transplant. If it was having trouble keeping Ari alive, what good would it do the receiver. Have they even asked Rafe’s permission?

ParticipantI was on the couch battling bronchitis and having a hard time staying awake so I don’t remember her saying anything. Was I alseep when she did?

Participantwe all know how meaningless DNA tests in Salem are and how easily they can be changed. Heck, with Chloe, it seems everybody and his brother had a hand in those files.
