he’s certainly throwing a lot of flames around.  I don’t know how anybody could take kindly to remarks like those.

Even so, I don’t think it matters much what you do or say on that show, they’ll take you back if they need you.  Look what Missy Reeves did.  Look how horrible Louise Sorrel spoke to Corday when she was let go.  And they’ve taken both of them back.  I’m sure there were also some other harsh words when actors (that have returned) were "let go."

Seems to me not speaking to the person who basically holds the success of your livelihood in their hands is pretty much career suicide.  It sounds to me like Mark really doesn’t know how to "play the game" as far as the soap (and I don’t mean Tide and Cheer) industry is concerned.

Patti, I don’t get your remark if Higley and Corday want this show to fail?  Why would they ever want it to fail?

Ben would let them know what he needed, blood type, markers, etc. and they would find someone with no family to match.  Then, off with their head and, voila, Ben’s got his organ.

It turned up on our 2011 Book Club list.  It’s our book for March so I just downloaded it on my Kindle.  I’m going to wait until at least the end of Feb. though to read it otherwise I forget about most of it by the time we meet.

I like Stephanie and I think the actress (Shelly?) does a good job with the drivel she’s given to work with.  Oh, well…

They need to replace them with someone with at least a small amount of taste.  Well, Stephanie probably will never wear it anyway, she can stash it with all of Sami’s dresses.

The warden and Jane can’t be gone fast enough for me but please, please, please keep Ty on…just don’t make him a bad guy.  I’d really like to see him with Jen.

I don’t think for one minute that they’ll ever get Matt back on the show (he’s always got so many other things going for him) so they might as well break up Jack and Jen for good.

Someone previously mentioned the ridiculous story of Jack’s walkabout but isn’t that something Jack would do?  It’s typical of him to do something far out like that.  Maybe he’ll get attacked by a rabid kangaroo while in the outback.

would even submit to wearing that awful get-up.  That was just down-right HORRIBLE!

is why she is so hell-bent to tell "the truth" about the paternity but doesn’t seem to care anything at all about telling Nathan "the truth" about what part Stephanie played in it.  Do we call that "selective hippocriticism"?

they keep bringing in Hortons (which is sorely needed) and then dumping them.  We need more Hortons to keep this core family alive.

I wasn’t super crazy over Nathan but I did like him and hate to see him leave.  I hope they do recast the character.

when he said to Victor regarding being Parker’s father that he placed the order, he should pick up the bill.

I think it’s much more attractive on her than her own color and I don’t think it’s too light at all.

As for Chloe, I’d like to see her with just a few very sparce highlights, just enough to give it a little warmth.

She has always been a beloved, frankly somewhat milquetoast, character in the past.  It’s just another example of the writers practicing their character assassination.

likable/tolerable character once they gave him a little bit of humor.  Before he was just a vehicle to fulfill the resident bad guy.  I never cared much for him then but that has completely turned around for me now.  I’d miss him if he were to go.

Look how he sasses EJ with his emphatic "nos."  And EJ never corrects him but takes it just like Stefano does.  So, I guess you could say it runs in the family.

We had 20 responses…pretty good showing.  Here are your favorites:

    1.  Brady  (7 picked him as first choice)  got 54% of votes

    2.  Rafe (7 picked him as first choice)  got 49% of votes

    3.  EJ  (4 picked him as first choice)  got 35% of votes

    4.  Philip (2 picked him as first choice)  got 28% of votes

Percentage of votes does not add up to 100% because of weighting 1 through 4 and rounding percentages.

I found it interesting that EJ came in fourth.  I guess there’s still some of us die-hards out there.  My guess would have been Rafe, Brady, Philip, then EJ.

    Thanks everybody that voted.
