having Brady get back together with Chloe again. You can see he has never stopped caring for her and she for him. We’ve never seen them "together" with this Brady so…
with Rafe yesterday was excellently done. I could really feel her disappointment with him and how much she wanted her old Rafe back. Even the part in bed (which I normally loathe) was watchable.
It seems to me that was said just because he wanted to win so badly he was even willing to do something as dastardly as that. I don’t think that was in very good taste but I wouldn’t take much offense to it.
It’s funny, now days, we are always hearing "free speech, free speech" and yet people are bashed for saying something even slightly offensive to someone else. I think we have taken this PC-ness WAAAAAY too far. If someone says something offensive or something I don’t like, I just consider the source and make my judgement of what kind of person they are based on that.
I always used to love George Gobel (sorry you youngsters who don’t know who he is) until I saw him in Las Vegas at a craps table using a real potty mouth. After that, I didn’t want to watch him any more. Same think happened with Jerry Lewis, he was playing craps at 10:00 am, drunk as a skunk, tossing down hundred dollar bills, losing like crazy and drawing as much attention to himself as he could…also using bad language. I have no respect for him after that whatsoever. To me, that’s just not the way a celebrity acts in public.
I will have to add I’ve also seen Buddy Hackett and Don Rickles in public but I expect that kind of behavior from them. They’re like that on stage so I wouldn’t expect anything different off. And, while I’m name-dropping, I met Mohammad Ali in a hotel lobby and he was the most soft-spoken, truly pleasurable person you could imagine.
they don’t bring Kyle Brant back, I really didn’t care for him. He was okay but nothing special. I’d rather take a chance on a totally new actor that might be able to worm his way into our hearts the way Jay did.
on (I think) MSNBC but I tried searching my DVR for it and it wasn’t listed this year. I hope they do because there’s just too many shows to try and record on Sunday nights.

The problem with making it a dream is, after the Bobby Ewing incident, the concept was so surprising that anyone using the same thing now would be accused of causing the show to "jump the shark," (not that Days hasn’t jumped that poor shark inumerable times before).
came to the conclusion that no matter who they put Brady with, it won’t last long. It’ll be like Nicole, hot and heavy, and then too soon, over with. It’ll be like Chloe and Philip, then Chloe and Daniel. It’ll be like Brady and Arianna, Philip and Melanie, like Sami and ……. (fill in the blank). The only somewhat constant we’ve been allowed to enjoy through the years has been Hope and Bo and even then, look what they’ve put us through with them.
We all know the writers can’t let anybody be happy for any length of time. So, that in mind, I guess it doesn’t matter who they decide to pair him up with, we can’t get invested in any kind of relationship with them because just as we do, it’ll be over with.
I left the newsgroup I had been very active in for over ten years because it got so bad…and I mean BAD! The personal slurs to the posters were things I wouldn’t even care to repeat. And I hated leaving because I had made so many good friends (a couple of us even vacationed in San Francisco, Orlando and Las Vegas and had a blast) there but one by one, they all left until all that was left were the trolls.
