I only read this one and Salem Spectator. I used to follow Prevuze so I could see if I wanted to tape or not. I’m sure there are some better than others. Any thoughts on good ones? I’m not registered on Salem Spectator so usually just read the Days summary but occasionally will read comments. I see Jade posts on there. She’s disappeared off this board.
as well. I’ve looked at SS but only once or twice. Salem Place is the board for me – I love all you folks and your input! I learn more about "Days" with you all than I could read in three volumes of books about it.
I read Days Cafe and their day ahead gets posted in the late evening so I can see if I want to watch or record.
Dayscafe; Daytime Royalty; NBC/Days; Soap Central; Soaps.com; Salem Spectator; and Soapnet.com, just to see what everyone thinks compared to how most of us do. However, I only post here. Some of the "no holds barred" boards can get a little raw to the reader. Believe me, what we call criticism could be considered laughable on some boards.
show on this board – that is for sure! We may get rip-roaring angry at what the writer’s write (again and again) and how the actors act, but we still don’t trash and bash. And there is a lot of history that can be learned about our show here too.
I left the newsgroup I had been very active in for over ten years because it got so bad…and I mean BAD! The personal slurs to the posters were things I wouldn’t even care to repeat. And I hated leaving because I had made so many good friends (a couple of us even vacationed in San Francisco, Orlando and Las Vegas and had a blast) there but one by one, they all left until all that was left were the trolls.
i used to read another day ahead , i cant think of the name right now, it was hilarious. but they arent running anymore. and i read dayscafe. and of course i’ve been lurking and reading this board for like 10 years or more!
I loved their snide comments. I only post here but I lurk on Dayscafe and read their Days Ahead almost everyday.
I didn’t realize Days Cafe had a day ahead. I thought it was only Prevuze which is gone and now occasionally on Salem Spectator. Thanks for the info. At least I’ll be forewarned of yet another EJ/Taylor flashback!
Salem Place is special because everyone seems to have a healthy respect for other posters. We may not always agree, but we can express our opinions without being angry and nasty. I only post on this board, but I sometimes read others to see how everyone else feels about things….(Days Cafe, and Salem Spectator).
