She’d be foolish not to jump at the chance to appear in DH.  In fact, I’d be willing to bet she would have abondoned AMC for a role in that in a second.  I’m not so sure she’s as popular as you think, Patti.  She’s really a one-trick pony at this point.  The made-for-TV movies she’s done in the past were not well received.  And I just can’t see her as a talk show host.  Geeze, there’s way to many of them as it is.

And I don’t think you can chastize ABC for what they did.  They are in business to make money and they saw the writing on the wall, they had to choice but to do what they had to do.  My last job started laying off people (500 out of a 5,000 workforce), even a couple of workers who had been with the company for 30 years!  Of course everybody started bad-mouthing them like crazy until six months later when the company filed for bankruptcy.  They did the lay-offs so people could get their severance (which was VERY generous, six months pay in some cases), COBRA, etc.  So, in the long run, they were doing these people a huge favor.

I’m not saying ABC is filing for bankruptcy but they realize soaps are going down the tube which virtually leaves them no choice but to go the cancellation route.  I don’t think it’s fair to say they used bad writing to kill the shows.  That just wouldn’t make sense.

BTW, I hope all you moms out there had a very happy mom’s day.  I sure did…even though my kids weren’t here.  I talked to each one on the phone for an hour each.  They had decided to admit something to me they did when they were younger and never told me.  I won’t go into that!!!! :o)

speaking of the dating game, I have to tell you something funny that happened yesterday.  First of all, I’ve been single now for 27 years so the thought of going on a date absolutely terrifies me.  Anyway…

My friend just came back from New Orleans and she brought me a little Voodoo doll.  Before I could even take it from her hand my other friend grabbed it, held it in front of my face and closed her eyes (which is what you’re supposed to do) and started chanting, "Find Bonnie a husband, find Bonnie a husband…).  I hate her!!!

AOL have these little video snippets on the homepage (usually from You Tube) and it was there.  She was telling about her cravings while pregnant.

And do you really think more people know her from TBL than Days?  She has been on Days for so long, I’d think that would be her biggest fame.  Even though probably more people watch the nighttime program, I think there would have been more millions–over the years–that have seen her on Days.  Just a guess though.

but I didn’t think it was an apartment either.

But I think it’s kind of bogus that Roman would give out the address. even to his g.son.  From what I’ve heard, very few people know of these places and they don’t tell even family members.  I know nobody was there at the time but, still…

but don’t you think at Jen’s age, she would know by now?  How old was that girl and how strange she’d never had shrimp before.  It’s not exactly an uncommon food.  Now escargot or raw oysters I could understand.

I was surprised that it would happen that quickly but from what you said about this girl, I guess it does.  However, I was camping a long time ago when a young boy got stung by a bee, but he knew he was allergic and his mom carried a hypo for him (before Epi-Pens).  Only she said she couldn’t do it, so I grabbed tne needle and shoved it in his arm before she even knew what was happening, no alcohol swab or anything.  Of course I was the hero then.  :o)  To this day (he’s now 50), he still thanks me for "saving his life."  Anyway, he hadn’t started reacting yet after about 5 minutes, but maybe he would have in the next couple.

Maybe it’s a sign that says "Maggie’s Home for Wayward Girls."

it looked really cute on her.  But I also hated the wine glasses.  The only wine glasses I’ll drink out of are CLEAR!  And, I’m very fussy, they have to be extremely thin.  I have a friend who has cut glass wine glasses and I hate drinking out of them.  Almost to the point of passing up the wine…almost, I said.  Don’t be ridiculous!

That probably came from when I was only about five-years old and I wouldn’t drink milk.  My mom’s best friend gave me this beautiful footed, extremely thin, pink glass that was only for my milk.  And believe it or not, it actually tasted pretty good out of it.  I know, I know…weird!

What do you think is wrong with Jen?  I’m guessing allergy to shrimp.  Although if you are going to someone’s house for a meal and you’re allergic to something, you really ought to let them know.  But I’m sure Daniel has an Epi-Pen in his doctor’s bag.  BTW, do any of you know a doctor who still carries around a bag anymore?

and where she got started.  I can see her not mentioning Days if she were no longer on it but, geeze, she’s on it almost every day.  She’s only on TBL once a week.

So what does everybody think about Susan Lucci possibly being on Desperate Housewives?  I don’t think I’d care for her on there.  But they’ll probably hire her.  Is AMC on ABC?  If so, they’ll probably try to keep her with the network.

because, yes, I’ve done it more than once myself.  That’s why I was sure to do it correctly the second time.  Oh well!

I was really hoping her and Ben Aflack were going to make it but, alas, it was not to be.  She seems to be pretty happy with Marc though and I guess that’s what counts.

It is an FBI safe house which they probably own and keep all the time.  So currently, they have no one using it.  That’s the only thing I can think of.

I am SOOOO looking forward to Real Rafe and Rafe2 to come face to face.  That is going to be AWSOME to the tenth power.

I think it’s the same little girl.  If they are twins (and they probably are), maybe one is getting a little more comfortable on the set but I’m pretty sure it’s the same one(s).

I never thought of that.  But Carly did say (didn’t she?) when she was talking to him that he was in Australia?  Or am I confused with Jack being there doing his walkabout?

That reminds me, did anyone ever see that movie, Walkabout?  It wasn’t a big hit and a very small movie but really interesting.  I rented it because I’d heard music from the score and really liked it.  I’ve actually seen a lot of movies that way.  While I’m on the computer I listen to AOL’s radio and they have a station that’s nothing but movie scores.  If I really like the music, I’ll watch the movie.  Another one I saw that way was Run, Lola, Run.
