I can’t remember who said this but I heard someone on TV say there was no possible way to beat Hines because of his tremendous football following.  Not only from his own team but football in general.  (Patti, you fall in there, right?)  I thought the same thing could be said of, oh crap, can’t remember his name right now. the other footballer who won, I didn’t think he was the best dancer.

He also said (and I agree completely) that Chelsea was the best dancer and that Kirstie was also being kept there because of a huge fan base, not her talent.  I don’t begrudge Hines as I felt he did a great job but still thought Chelsea should have won.

You’re right about Maks and those lifts.  Can you imagine his lifting her up like that.  She’s still got to weigh around 180 or so.  That’s lot of lifting.  I loved that he was so dedicated to her.

You know, there have been many more men that have won than women.  I don’t understand that because I think the men have the easier part in dancing.  Many times they are just standing there where the woman is whirling around, high kicking, doing the splits, etc.  I think her part is much more difficult yet the guys win.  Go figure.

All-in-all, a very good season and, as always, I’m already looking forward to the next one.  I just wish they’d change one thing and give more weight to the judges scores (although I don’t always think they are total impartial either) than they do now.  I mean, it IS a dancing contest, not a popularity one.

when she was blamed for Brady’s addiction.  That was just plain ludicrous.  Nobody can make you an addict of anything, that’s something a person does all alone.  I’m not necessarily saying they have a choice in the matter because I strongly believe addiction is a mental malady but no one drive a person to drink/drugs.  That’s like saying, "You give me a headache."  Physically impossible.

I’d really to see what someone else suggested of Chloe going Rambo on Quinn and becoming a real baddie.  Kate and Vivian are failing miserably in the villian department.  Besides, someone has to carry on the tourch.  If they can’t keep Chloe as sweet as she’s been in the past, turn her around completely and make her a #1 bitch on wheels.

It has a picture of an innocent looking white dog with chocolate all over his muzzle.  Inside is says, "What chocolate cake?"

I laughed so hard.  I know, I know, it doesn’t take much to amuse me.

I don’t necessarily think the actors get to pick their wardrobes but I do think they can have some input.

Geeze, she’s got three tops on, is it that cold in Salem.  And wearing that purse crossed over her body like that looks totally ridiculous.  Who wears their purses like that after age 16?

evidenced by his insistance in helping Chloe.  But…he took over EJ’s druglord position so he can’t be good.  Rats.

I don’t remember any of that happening.

At the time, Ari’s death was nothing more than an accident.

Theo’s autism storyline will go now, will it be forgotten completely now  that DH is gone?  Probably.

I think if they’re going to put a rape in a story (and I don’t know how you call it anything but rape what Rafe2 did to Sami), you certainly are going to have to address much more seriously than they have done so far.  Sami should be absolutely outraged, livid, and ready to cut Rafe2’s throat but all we’ve seen is a kind of "oh-well" attitude.

Also, RealRafe should be ready to do him some serious harm too.

which is on the Mississippi River.  My mom’s best friend’s mother lived right on the river and every year, we’d have to go and move her out because her house would flood and then clean up and move her back in after the water receeded.  But would she move, no way.  There are so many people who live or farm in the flood zones but they will not leave, knowing that practically every year they can count on being flooded out.  (As far as farmers, that land along the Mississippi is very fertile because of the flooding, so much more preferable to the inland acreage.)  And they have no insurance because companies will not insure them.  Sad but these people know what they are in for and still won’t do anything about it.

My compassion is for the people who get flooded unexpectedly and lose everything they have.  So tragic.  But people are resilient and always seem to bounce back.  Look how many people have rebuilt and are back to normal in New Orleans, etc.  Look how the area hit so devistatingly by Andrew in South Florida has rebuilt.  Look how San Francisco recovered after The Big One, or even the 1998 earthquake.  We survive.  Let’s just help how we can and pray for those we can’t help.

it would end up taking main characters out of the picture if they were to go to jail.  So the only alternative is for someone to get something on them to make them miserable, i.e. Sami taking custody of the kids away from EJ.  (Isn’t EJ paying for his "crimes" right now being under Nicole’s thumb?)

As far as Stefano goes, I can only think that Vivian will hold the Rafe fiasco over his head in exchange for, oh, say throwing Kate out and bringing Vivie in.  That’s kind of drastic, but at the moment, I’m not really sure what else they could do to "punish" Stefie.  I mean, don’t you think having to live with Vivian would be cruel and extreme punishment?  :o)
