Participantin with The Creature all I could do was shake my head in disblievement. Never, never, never, under any circumstances, would they put a woman in the same cell as a man, even temporarily. No wonder Higley got fired.

Participantwanting a baby so badly and having such difficulty are going without while others just dump their kids off in a swamp somewhere because they just don’t want them anymore. Or all the drug addicts who should no way in the world bring a child into this world. Too bad there’s not some way to even this out.
I think it’s great how we are able to see the struggles they go through in everyday life because of them being little people. I watch Pitt Boss too (also LP) and really get a charge out of Shorty who is so coarse and gruff but has such a soft heart for his doggies.
As to your other question, I think you can buy a TIVO independently from a cable company but I’m pretty sure there’s still a monthly subscription fee. I think they have us over their knees on this one. And you pay $10/mo.? I only pay $5 for mine. Of course they charge an arm and a leg for everything else.

ParticipantThat man is so hot he should need a permit to be allowed out in public! Whew!
And Dee’s looking pretty darned good also.

ParticipantIt looked yesterday like he’s going to be and integral "part of the family" when he put down the phone and didn’t call the cops. But that could just be a red herring they’re throwing us.
I think we’re definitely going to see a struggle of power, even though Chad is far to young to be a major player in something that huge, AND, with John coming back, will they throw him into the equation too? If so, that could make for quite an interesting storyline. Oh, and we know Kate will have to have her fingers in there somewhere too…the meddling old witch that she is.

ParticipantThe only thing that makes sense is that they had them destroyed. I don’t know how they could duplicate them, that would be impossible.
Also, I though his real name was Javier (according to what they’re using in the CC) but now yesterday they came up with a different name off his mug shot. WTH?

ParticipantI once read an interview with someone from the soaps (can’t remember who but it wasn’t an actor) who said that the biggest factor is showing the men without their shirts is not particularly for the female viewers but for the gay men who, apparently, represent a large bloc of viewers. It seems that gay men are much more interested (read: turned on) in the male nude body than females are. Hmmm…

ParticipantThat’s about the only explanation I could accept for his behavior. I didn’t think about that. Or that he’d been in a mental institution for some reason.
Quite frankly, I’m not that excited about Jack’s return. It’s just going to throw a bigger monkey wrench in the Jen/Dan pairing. It’s bad enough that Jen’s stickting Carly in there. How foolish is that, she’s stepping aside because Carly cares for Dan, even though she knows Dan doesn’t have any feelings for Carly. Bah, stupid.

Participantrelated to my mother. She used to say the same thing. Of course when I was a teen I was the queen of sarcasm and very good at smirking.
But, yeah, I don’t understand why the director hasn’t tried to get her to NOT smirk, at least when she’s mad or sad. When she was crying about her mom, it looked to me like she was just foolin’ and not really sad at all. I half way expected to get a wink from her.

ParticipantBut I think they’re walking a slippery slope here. I have no problem with them talking about gay tolerance, etc. but, I see it very much like discussing religion or politics. They are going to be stepping on toes no matter what they do or say.
If they’re going to do a gay storyline, they should just do it and not preach to the non-believers. Personally, I don’t have a problem with homosexuality and firmly believe a person is born that way and not a chosen lifestyle…BUT…I would never try to tell someone who believes differently that they are wrong. If they keep it up, they may lose some precious viewers.
That said, I DID like Sonny’s attitude he took with Vic. He was firm but nonconfrontational. I think I’m going to like his character. And I’m happy his parents are supporting him.

ParticipantUse all the millions of dollars I would get from exploiting the death of a sweet little innocent girl and create my own witness protection plan.
But, from what I’ve seen of this poor excuse of use of skin is a person that is going to have an exceedingly rough time trying to make it on her own. She is a pathological liar and I honestely think she believes her own lies. She can’t hold down a job so what’ she going to do? I’d suggest she stock in about 50 years worth of supplies and go live on a mountain top or deserted island somewhere.

ParticipantHis ego is too big as it is now.

Participantthat’s not the first time that’s happened with us. I don’t know who I could argue with if you weren’t here. LOL
But that means you think they didn’t pay them anything for traveling around the country promoting the book? Probably not as much as they were making on the show but that means to me they were not actually fired, only offered a different position.
As Bill O’Reilly would say, you may have the last word as I will allow the poor horse to rest in peace.

Participantbecause practically everything I’m watching is on a cable channel.
Burn Notice (#1), CHAOS, Little Couple, Pawn Stars, American Restoration, America’s Got Talent, Toddlers and Tierras (I can’t believe some of those kids and their behavior!), Rizzoli and Isles. I will be watching Project Runway and just hope it doesn’t interfere with so many other shows this year. Last year I had to DVR it in the middle of the night on a regular (not HDTV) channel and it was like four days later.

ParticipantThe witness protection program is only for people who testify for the prosecution in a state or federal case, ergo, "witness" protection.
Gil T. (took me a minute to figure that one out!) will have to be responsible for her own protection. And I hope she gets a permanent crick in her neck from constantly having to look over her shoulder.

ParticipantI can’t find any justification whatsoever in the idea of: "Oh-oh, our ratings continue to drop, what should we do? Ah-ha, I know, let’s fire the two most popular characters! And we’ll chop off another couple of heads too just to make it look convincing."
Besides, they didn’t even actually fire them, they just gave them a different job of promoting the book. Nope, the more I think about it the more I’m convinced that that’s what happened. They pulled the same crap with the Melaswen storyline. They killed off all those popular characters when they knew all the time they’d return. Hey, I didn’t just fall off the turnip truck, ya know.
