I’d like to see Maggie’s hair pulled back, just to see how it would look. Maybe she has big ears or something and that’s why she always wears it so full. As a rule I think older women (like over 60 or so) usually look better with shorter hair. Look at Julie, Caroline, and Alice Horton.
Only one line. She was in (I think it was a chapel) when a group was singing.

I loved the way they played that scene though. The one in the hospital room too. Damn, I wish they’d put those two back together again. Nicole was right, they had it all. Talk about a super couple. They’re probably the two best actors on the show and certainly two of the best looking ones.
It seems the majority of them are Vietnamese and they AWAYS speak Vietnamese to each other instead of English. Which is probably why their English is so poor…they don’t practice it enough. Someone really ought to tell them how very rude that is.
My husband spent several years in Viet Nam training their troops and spoke the language quite well. I’d love it when we’d encounter someone speaking Vietnamese (especially when they were talking about us) and he’d listen awhile and then just jump into the conversation. Hilarious!
I have on occasion said ‘thank you’ in Vietnamese (about the only thing I know) after I’ve had my nails done and watch the expression on their faces. I almost imagine them thinking back on what they said in front of me.

I didn’t find the rest of Sophia’s actions that offensive and it was her who said they were being rude by speaking Spanish so at least she was considerate enough to stop. I thought Sami was just a tad overly sensitive, however justified by initially being ignored.
but it wasn’t so apparent because he didn’t have the facial hair. I’ll say one thing for him, it looks good on him. I’ve always liked the actor but his playing the dispicable DA has certainly put a dent in that for me.
Is it something you need to have watched from the beginning or could I get into it now and know what’s going on?
That reminds me of Merlin too although it hasn’t started up again yet. My DIL and I love it but my son laughs at us. He says next we’ll probably take up Dungeons and Dragons! But it has some great characters and stories and enough humor thrown in to make it very enjoyable.

You have to admit, it would be very difficult to try and include every minority mentioned (didn’t they say that Taylor was a vegan?) but, I think, in all fairness, Days has at least tried to do so.
I believe the reason homosexuality is more frequently portrayed as often as it is because there are many more gay people than the other minorities mentioned above AND because of all the controversy surrounding it. I think you could put it in the same category as abortion when it comes to beliefs. Most people feel very strongly either one way or the other and there doesn’t seem to be any simple or logical solution to either topic.
