ParticipantWhat an exceptional woman she is. You couldn’t be anything BUT extremely proud of her.

ParticipantIt would make sense to give them the opportunity to deal with it between seasons.
And I know what you mean about your dogs. Mine follow me so closely she sometimes steps on the back of my flip-flop. Silly dog. She’s so afraid I might go somewhere without her. I think that’s why so many dogs are named Shadow!

ParticipantI thought Bo looked great and even his speech sounded like a pirate.
Like Patti, I thought everyone looked great. Although what Marlena was supposed to be, I have no idea. She never even used the mask. Maybe a costume was beneath her. I’m sure John could have called up the costume store and had one ready for her to wear, at least that was what I was expecting.
I know they probably did it because it’s what we want to see but why doesn’t anybody make their own costumes anymore? That was the thing I always looked forward to at Halloween, the creativity of the costume making. I remember when I was in second grade, my mother made me an entire dress, hat, and boots out of newspapers and taped the masthead from the Chicago Tribune across my chest. And I won first prize with it. To me, that’s much more fun than just going and renting one.
The most creative one I ever saw was a couple who had wired their clothing to look like the wind was blowing real strong and they had attached newspaper pages, hot dog wrappers, and stuff that would have blown off the street onto them. The guy held an inside-out umbrella and the woman had brushed her hair way out to one side and sprayed it well so it would stay there. VERY creative.

ParticipantChad’s birth mother. Although I don’t know who it could possibly be to be connected to Alice (or the Hortons) in any way. Maybe this is where the money was going and not related to Daniel. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see, or, as my mom used to say, "You’re gonna have to hide and watch."

Participantthat the 20 years was when Alice found out about it, not when the baby was born. I’m still wondering what the money was for though.
I guess we’re just going to have to suspend reality with the IVF being done long enough ago to produce Daniel. It’s not the first time we’ve had to do it.

ParticipantIt would have to be Mickey’s child to be related. Maggie is only related to Jen through her marriage to Mickey.
I really liked the way Maggie and Melanie played their parts at the reveal. I thought it was very realistic and pleasant. You could just see it registering with Maggie and then how pleased she was with the information. Good job, ladies.

Participantwhat John did about the ankle bracelet? That would have ratted him out as soon as he left the apartment. Someone was not paying attention to details. I kept waiting for him to explain to Marlena how he got it off or disabled it.
I loved Bo’s story (and the pirate accent). It may have been a little too intense for the little ones though but I loved how they all screamed when the lights flickered. I thought it was Hope that did it, even though she denied it. Very cute.

ParticipantI read that on AOL also. What a shame. Glad he’s doing as well as he is.

ParticipantThey have so much working against them and if something happens when they finally do the genetic testing, what will they do? Abort it? I think they are taking a really big risk here having all this televised. Can you imagine if the baby is defective and they have to show their emotions on air? Not good, not good at all.
I’m just hoping against hope that everything turns out all right. And I hope the baby is a little person also. I think Jen would be happiest if it is.

ParticipantIt’s about a little people guy in Hollywood who runs a talent agency for little people so we know they are available. The show is actually about his rescuing pit bulls but there has been a lot about the little people in show business also. He also has three little people who work for him.
BTW, I love The Little Couple show. They must be VERY successful from the money they spend. And they are both very down to earth and humorous.

ParticipantThat was the first thing I though of when they showed that…just TOO lame!
Bonbon
ParticipantJust that she could see what was happening between the two of them and was a little embarassed to be watching. However, I could be wrong. I think I was once before. :o)

ParticipantI LOVE the PTSD idea. Never been done before and so many possibilities. It would even give Marlena something to do. Have you read this might be? I hope so.

Participant(which I basically am enjoying) so much as the long, drawn out conversations saying the same thing every day. If you’re going to have a long-lasting storyline, you’ve got to at least infuse something new into it from time to time.
John’s predicament is a prime example. We don’t know a single thing new about it since it began. It needs some development. How many times have how many characters said that John just can’t be guilty because he is such an upstanding citizen? Okay, okay, we know already!

Participantwere professional ballroom dancers and teachers so they should probably be well qualified. But I think they were probably selected more on their personality than anything else. But, like I said before, I wish Bruno would start to tone it down a little. I’m really tired of his over-acting.
Because the show is produced by BBC, and Len is British, that probably had a lot to do with it. In fact, the show originally began in England and, like so many other shows (like America’s Got* Talent), we copied it here.
* – Shouldn’t that be ‘Has’? Same thing with ‘You’ve got mail!’ That really bothers me because if you’re going to use "got," I believe you have to preface it with "have." Sorry, my OCD taking over.
