was another case of too much and too long.  They just keep repeating the same thing over and over, only using different words.  I hope this kind of thing doesn’t continue because it seems like these new writers are very wordy and just trying to take up time with these scenes that go on and on.

I rarely FF but was sorely tempted yesterday just to get to something else.  Yes, they were well done but just too much of it.

unless there was some baby switching after he was born, we saw Susan giving birth to EJ on camera so it couldn’t be EJ.  Of course it’s not like they’d EVER change history on this show.  <extreme sarcasm>

I don’t think the pictures next to the baby picture really had anything to do with it.  They were just paning over to the baby picture, trying to build suspense, if you will.

I don’t think anyone is that scatter-brained like she portrayed yesterday.

And what’s with the being so apologetic about being a couple of minutes late.  An "executive assistant" would probably work on her own time being that they typically work more than their 40 hours per week.  No one would say anything if she were a little bit late.  Although a good EA would be there BEFORE the boss to have everything in order when she shows up…think, The Devil Wears Prada, and Working Girl.

It was definitely lighter but it looked very dry and frizzy-looking.  I wonder how long she’s going to keep that blue tail.  I could understand if it was attractive but I think it’s downright ugly…especially where it is.

I wasn’t that fond of her outfit.  For one thing, her clothes almost always look like they’re one size too small for her.  And, I guess it’s a "Kate thing" but I think she normally way over accessorizes which often ruins the outfit.

Speaking of accessories, what did everybody think of that long beaded necklace Maggie has worn a couple of times.  I think it is totally fabulous and would LOVE to have it.

    It may be something cultural.

I was watching Cake Boss the other night (they’re from New Joisey) and I don’t know how they can put up with all the yelling they do at each other.  It seems like nobody talks in a normal "inside" voice at all.  Is that a regional thing or is it because they’re Italian?  Although, I grew up in an Italian neighborhood and I don’t remember people always yelling like that.  Man, that would drive me insane!!!

That was the first time I heard him sing and, I’m sorry, but I don’t see any talent there whatsoever.  He has NO strength* or quality to his voice (notice how he kept adjusting his mike?) and he acts like he’s a little 8th grader trying look cool…unsuccessfully I might add.  He’s a real turn-off for me and I can’t for the life of me figure out what these teeny-boppers see in him.  I think it is a case of good promotion on someone’s part (probably Usher).

    * If you want someone with strength to his voice, listen to Tony Bennett.  I saw him once in a very large venue and he turned off the mike and sang a capella and everyone in the whole place heard him, loud and clear. And at 82 years old at the time.  But then, Justin Beiber will never be a Tony Bennett…NEVER!

He’s just smarmy looking and I have no interest in him whatsoever…good or bad.

I can’t believe they let him go.  No, he wasn’t the greatest dancer but he’s far better than Rob and Nancy.  I can’t believe that Nancy has that many fans that they are keeping her going this long.

So next week it HAS to be either Nancy or Rob.  They can’t possibly make any other choice.

As to the bad music, even Bruno mentioned (again) last night how difficult that song (Ghostbusters) was for AJ to do a tango to.  Somebody PLEASE take the hint!!!

SOMETHING wrong with him.  He can’t be perfect.  :o)  Elvis the Elf…LOL!

Quite frankly, I never noticed it.  Now I’ll have to look and see.

At least Jennifer thinks it is and I’m sure if it wasn’t, the guy would have spoken up and said so.

Especially after Henderson blurted out that Victor helped get them the eggs.  Interesting that he (Henderson) would have been aware of that.

I think that is probably one of the funniest movies ever made.  I started laughing during the opening credits.

BLAH!  BLAH! BLAH!  I can’t believe they continue to make such poor selections.  It’s really ruining the show for me.  Especially when there is so much excellent, appropriate music out there.  Maybe it’s time for the pros and the stars to put their foot down (ala Maks) and say something to the producers.

Did anybody else think the judges were a little more subdued with their comments last night?  I think Maks may have gotten his point across.
