PERIOD! Even for movies, they’ve got the Oscars (which be the only one), Golden Globes, People’s Choice, and a couple of other minor ones. Good excuse for everybody getting dressed up and showing off.
It seems like with all the award show choices now, if you’re in show business, your bound to get something.
Are you kidding me? Don’t tell me they are going to pre-empt one of the highest rated shows on TV for a football game? I can’t believe that.
Glad it’s not here (even for the Fins) because I’d probably be camped out on the station’s doorstep with an axe in my hand.
Sami and EJ DID have a lot of chemistry together (I’m beginning to think EJ could have chemistry with a bronze statue). But now that he has spent time with Nicole, I MUCH prefer them together. Especially now that Sami has Rafe who, IMO, are perfectly matched.
the way they swept this return to Salem under the rug. Roman gets a call about Johnny so he just tells him to get lost? GMAB! I’m betting that’s the last we’ll hear about it too. They couldn’t figure out how to justify it so they just ignore it.

your water may be very "pure" (all the water companies tell you that!) but it can still taste bad. But if you’ve tried bottled water it’s not that.
My sister used to live in Northern Michigan and I couldn’t drink her water it tasted so bad but they said it was from the mountains and as pure as they can make it.
but I’ve heard your water may affect the taste. Try bottled water once and see what happens. And aren’t you supposed to use COLD water?
Also, some people don’t think you should clean out the ol’ Mr. Coffee, that you need the oils to give it flavor. Just sayin’…
Coffee drinking friends tell me the French press makes the best coffee, either that or the Keurig. (sp?)
As to the "Cookie" throwing water and coffee together, remember, that’s probably all they knew. No Starbucks way back ehtn. :o) Supposedly they threw egg shells in the pot too to help the grounds settle. (We’ve done that camping.)
what exceptional actors we have on Days. They are given crappy lines to read (not all of it, of course…some was quite good) and yet they do an excellent job at it.

I would probably put the Sami/EJ "sex" business at the top of the worst storyline EVER. Even worse than The Garden of Eden (which I didn’t think was quite as bad as a lot of people) and Marlena’s possession (which I actually enjoyed).
Off hand, I can’t think of anything written in the last 42 years (as long as I’ve been watching) that was this bad.
staring me down because it’s two minutes to dinner time. I’ve never had a dog before that was so demanding for food. She starts staring at me and "woofing" about an hour before it’s time to eat. And when I feed her she acts like she hasn’t eaten in weeks. I’d think she has a tape worm but she’s not losing any weight. Goofy dog.
One time I decided to keep giving her food until she was full. She ate so much she threw it up. Then I felt bad. I forgot when they overeat they can get that thing where their stomach turns and it can kill them. Bloat, is it?
The other one looks at her food like she’s thinking, "This crap again?" And then will often walk away from it. I have to be careful that the vacuum cleaner (that’s exactly how she sounds when she eats) doesn’t scarf it down before I can pick it up.
discovered that kissing someone who is screaming at them (ala Nicole) shuts them up. It worked for Nicole so he figured it’d work for Sami. (All this said with tongue firmly planted in cheek.)
