everytime I’ve been in the hospital for the last 10 years (several more than 10!!!), there was a phone in my room and I didn’t have to pay for it. You used to have to pay for TV also but they are now standard. In fact, except for two times, I’ve had a private room…without asking for one.
As for the phone being there, it is also a convenience for the family. So I don’t think we can criticize them for this one. Lord knows, there’s plenty of other stuff that’s so totally unbelievable.
how much worse they look after the procedure. Especially those that get their lips pumped up. I think that looks awful. It makes them look like an Ubangi.
How come you didn’t stop in and say hi?
I think that kind of thing is always better when you see it in person rather than on the TV. I know that’s true of comedians, they are much funnier in person than on TV. I don’t know why but I suspect it’s probably the same for singers.

If you can see some old pictures of her, you’ll see that only the sides of her top lip are big but after the implant (again, I think it was an implant) it’s big all the way across. Now it’s only the sides again. Another person that has this problem is Liv Tyler, just not as bad as Lisa’s.
I think one thing I liked most about Julie was how much like Lisa she was. It was almost like having Lisa back after that horrible porn star actress…can’t remember her name right now.
Yeah, I wonder if she ever married "Frankie" also. I think after she left Days they were in another soap together. I don’t know which one but caught them while channel surfing.
I read an interview with her a long time ago. She said her lips were a condition she was born with where the muscles are lax and allow them to turn out. I understand this because I used to work with a woman who had the same thing only her’s was worse. Lisa’s affect only the sides of her lip but this lady had it all the way across. She could contract them and make her look normal but it was an effort to hold them that way. It would be kind of like pursing your lips for a kiss and then keeping it that way all the time which is nothing short of impossible to do.
So, to try and hide or camoflage it, she had the enlargement done…an implant, I think. It is only her top lip. But after having tried it, she decided it just looked worse and had it removed. So, now she’s back to what she was born with. She also stated that she didn’t feel she had to explain herself to everybody and she would not do so again.
I probably would not have remembered this had it not been for the lady I worked. I guess it’s a fairly rare condition. Anyway, it kind of irks me somewhat when people are always criticizing her when there’s nothing she can do about it.
Apollo Ono won but I’m not sure if he was on the same show as Laila Ali or whether or not she won. Someone else will have to answer that one.

Why are you so defensive? I didn’t say you said it wasn’t a dependable site, I was merely making an observation.
that one time, and I’m usually on here several times a day. This is, all-in-all, a very dependable site, IMO.
Since I wasn’t having trouble with anything else, I figured maybe Jenn was working on it or something, although, we haven’t heard from her in quite some time. I was thinking there are a couple of posts that could be removed by now.
