ParticipantBut I have a hard time believing someone would be sitting there pouring their heart out, saying what he did, to someone unconscious.

ParticipantI was going to record what came on at 12:00 but it was the same thing I saw at 8:30 to 11:00. I especially wanted to see The Who. I’m thinking we missed that part on the east coast. To you guys out in Cally see them? I don’t know why we didn’t get it but I was very disappointed. Although, as bad as the sound was, I probably wouldn’t have liked it.

Participantthat the floor had caved into the tunnels below and made the fall considerably farther (and more dangerous) than it was before. Also, they showed a lot of broken glass below her.
The fault I found is that neither of them had much of a hold on each other. Sami’s hands were just kind of lying on EJ’s wrists. If that had been me, I’d have been grabbing on to his clothing as tight as I could. I also would not have been wiggling like that either. And when they started pulling her up, why didn’t they grab onto her belt and haul her up. IOAS, IOAS, IOAS…

Participantcouldn’t get in because the streets had collapsed. I supposed it’s the same about getting them out so, the pub is the next best thing there. At least they have a doctor. And that’s where Cameron should be instead of that farce about trying to pry the elevator door open. GMAB!

You can sort it by country, sport, men, women, etc.
1st, USA; 2nd, China; 3rd, Russia

Participantthe other day that the US always wins the most medals (2,296 since 1986) in the Summer Olympics and that Norway (we are 2nd) usually wins most at the Winter Olympics.
I think second is France for overall winings. Wikipedia has an interesting graph of wins for both summer and winter, broken down by gold, silver and bronze for each olympiad.

Participantthat they will spend money on new characters as opposed to paying an existing one (Bo) to stay on. I can’t figure it out.

ParticipantThe drought is over.
I hope the closing ceremonies are better than the opening.

ParticipantI’ve always imagined that burning or drowning has got to be the most horrible things that could happen to you.

ParticipantI remember when my mom lived with us and she was always going, doing, fixing, cleaning. We used to tell her to stop once in a while and take it easy. Now I see myself doing the same things she did. Must be old age! :o)
Seriously, I’m probably much more active now than I was, say, in my 40s and 50s. I remember once asking a friend after she retired what in the heck she did all day. Now, I find myself keeping busy just doing "stuff," I guess like "stuff" I never had time to do when I was working.

ParticipantOne can drive you insane, imagine what how many she’s had can do?

ParticipantThat is certainly tragic and I know all of us send him our prayers and best wishes for a speedy (and painless) recovery.
It just goes to show, you never know what something tragic can strike.
Yes, Medicare is not what a lot of people think. They only cover 80% of your costs unless you have supplimentary insurance. And they only cover so many days in the hospital (don’t remember just how many now) so if you have to stay a while, you foot the whole bill.
Good luck to him and his family.

Participantinstead of letting several people go, they can just do one with a large salary. I’m not saying it makes sense to me but…
I would think if they had financial difficulties, they know what these veteran actors make so they should keep that in mind before hiring new actors, Cameron, Andrew, Spencer, to name a few. They could have gotten along without them.
And, really, what is the purpose of having Kayla, Sonny, Adrienne and Justin on? As much as I like seeing them all, you could add Julie and hubby too.
I also think they could cut their non-speaking extras down considerably. Yes, it’s nice to see people in the pub or the square but if you have to lose a star to pay them? Kind of a no-brainer to me.

ParticipantI’m probably being punished for SOMETHING I did. :o)
I was trying to wash mirrors and shower doors today but couldn’t lift my arm up to the top. Don’t know if you remember but I had a broken rib that the doctor broke while doing my laproscopic surgery just a year ago last August. Why me, why me???
Oh, well, it could be a whole lot worse. In fact, I was getting an empty box out of the garage a couple of minutes ago and I found the biggest cockroach I’ve ever seen. It looked like one of those Madascar hissing cockroaches but I know they’re not around here. I can put up with any kind of creature but not cockroaches. I’ve lived here 12 years and I’ve never seen one before. I just called the exterminator.
