(contrary to what a lot of talking-heads believed) that they "rolled over" Jim Lehrer.  I thought it was his decision to let them continue as he did so they could get their point(s) across.  He is an experienced moderator and I’m sure he could have put his foot down if he thought it was necessary or if they strayed from the topic.

I think a lot of people would like to see an unmoderated debate but they probably believe we would not get to see enough content because the candidates might continue to belabor one specific point because, obviously, if they hit on something "hot" neither one of them would let go of it and want to rebut the other’s comments.  This way they get to cover several important areas.

At least this debate made me feel Romney is well-qualified to be president.  Although I don’t usually watch debates, I’m looking forward to the next one.  But I’m willing to bet Mr. O. will be intensely and much better prepared and "worked on" by then.

EXCEPT…  Why tell Nicole there is no heartbeat.  She would have to wait for Nicole to deliver naturally or take it by Ceserian (sp?).  If the baby is dead, they’d just remove it vaginally and I don’t think you could do that with a live baby if she still has three weeks to go.  The doctor would have to take a chance that she would deliver it naturally, which may not happen!

I think this is another case of the writers not knowing what they are talking about.  Like so much of the legal stuff they try to push down our throats.

Alone?  For how long?  Forever?  I don’t believe Bo would be that stupid to go across the ocean alone.  Or leave Hope and Ciera for that long.  And where is he getting the boat?  Supposedly they don’t have a lot of money.  And who’s going to give him a loan with no job.  He certainly wouldn’t qualify on Hope’s salary as a cop!

Buying a boat (especially one you can sail around the world), plus all the added stuff you’d have to put on it, isn’t exactly like going out any buying a Honda, or a Mercedes, or a Jaguar…probably not even a high-end Ferrari.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah…  Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

I could hardly pay attention to Maggie and Jen they were so boring.  It seems all these writers are giving us are scenerios where two characters are just jawing together, either consoling or giving advice.  In fact, I can’t think of a single scene that entailed anything else.  Think about it.  Okay, there was one, Sami/EJ/Chad in the hallway.

Although I’m happy to see Sami and Rafe reunite, I think it was a little sudden and I thought the way they did it was rather trite and very cheesy.  Kind of like they were trying to duplicate the scene of Marlena and John reuniting on the dock.

a good meaty storyline on this Alzheimers.  I think it could be very well done and Peggy is just the person to pull it off.  I like the way these little things are starting to show up now.

The only experience I’ve had with the disease is with the wife of a guy I used to work with.  He would bring her into the office once in a while and it was so heartbreaking.  They say, it’s not hard on the patient because they don’t know what’s going on but so terribly hard on the caregiver.

My doctor has told me to never think I may be getting Alzheimers when I’m forgetting things because when you truly have it, you don’t know you’re forgetting.

Back to Bo…I can’t imagine how they are going to write him off for any length of time that will make sense.

to find out that Daniel was not actually sincere saying all the harsh things he did to her.  I was hoping he really meant them.  It was what she needed to hear.  This is just so totally out of character for Jen and I don’t think that’s something that can be blamed on her grieving for Jack.

And then, Nicole got a slap in the face when she heard that he still loves Jen.  In spite of her character, I really care for her and wish she could catch a break, either as far as Daniel or the baby is concerned.

that I rarely FF through anything on the show but yesterday I did when they, yet again, showed us EJ and Rafe’s little "agreement" and as I did with Adrienne’s speech about Will with Justin.

Some other writer used to do that alot.  Was it James Reiley?  It IS very frustrating but I understand they do it for people who may be new so they will get what’s going on.   I guess they think they have all these new viewers every day.  Wishful thinking, I’d say.

a pretty good following among the younger set.  I watched the show once and didn’t much care for it.  But I still think she’s got mom’s cronies still voting for her too.  Someone must be voting for her to keep her coming back because she sure isn’t doing it with her dancing.

But I’d really rather have Kirstie go than Bristol.  I’m so tired of her.  Yes, she’s 61 years old and it’s quite a feat for her to dance like that but she’s just not funny to me anymore.  Believe it or not, I’m kind of getting tired of Maks too.  I think I like Val much better.  At least he has some humility.

Actually, I enjoyed it but missed Heidi and Tim.  Different judges too but I don’t mind that because I don’t care for the two they have on PR that much anyway.  Mondo won that one.  It’ll be interesting to see who they bring back.

but, like in Billie’s case, I think she was underused.  (Although I never did get much excited about Carrie and Austin nor Lucas.)  She seemed much better after she’d been on for a while.  I think Eileen is a good enough actor that she will pull it off IF (and a big if) the writing for her is good.

Right now, I wish they’d toss Chad on the back burner because his overacting and freneticism (is that a word?) are just driving me crazy and has become very tedious and overbearing.  That conversation between him and EJ outside Sami’s apartment should have gone to the cutting room floor.

Nicole keeps it a secret that her baby is not alive?  How can that happen.  When a baby dies it has to be removed or it can kill the mom…quickly.

I saw on Dr. Pol where a cow had a dead calf inside he was trying to get out and it was decaying and filling her up with toxins and gas and the cow died while he was trying to remove the calf.  I imagine it wouldn’t be any different with a baby.

I just hate, hate, hate that they’re doing this to Nicole.  I don’t know why this is so upsetting but it’s just wrong.

to jump on a plane to Europe the following day.  They always make those trans Atlantic/Pacific flights to be like a couple hour hop.  Seems to me that Mel made another very rash decision without any forethought at all.

So, now what’s going to happen with Chad?  I just hope they tone down his acting a little bit.  He’s been way too far over the top.

And I wonder why he’s not wearing make-up anymore.  He’d look much better if he did.  Do you think it’s just because they’ve been trying to make him look haggard because of all his problems?  Heck, even when the girls go "nude-faced" they still have foundation on.  He really needs some.

and even Susan for a while but I think they kind of over did it with her and I got tired of all the wacky characters.  I thought Kristen and John were very good together, but then, John is good with whomever he’s paired with.  But I really don’t want her getting in between John and Doc.

if he leaves, does he have something else to do?  With all the unemployed soap stars from so many cancelled shows out there, does he think he’s going to get on somewhere else?  I hope he’s applying The First Wing-walker’s Rule…"Never let go of what you’ve got ’til you’ve got  hold of something else."

I just can’t imagine the show without Bo.  When John and Marlena left, they were both gone, but we’re going to have Hope still there.  I can’t believe they’d kill Bo off.  My DIL suggested maybe they’ll have him kidnapped.  That way they can hold him as long as they want in case he ever decides to come back again.

I switched from Firefox to Internet Explorer as my browser and it worked.  I have no idea why all of a sudden I couldn’t post through Foxfire.
