Sami says to Rafe she doesn’t want to just blurt it out so what does she say? She’s pregnant! She couldn’t have been more blunt.
Why didn’t she tell him that Gabby hadn’t been feeling well at the pub and passed out so Nick took her to the ER and they ran some test on her. Then, she found out it was nothing serious but something she really didn’t want Rafe to know about because she thought he’d hate her. Then yadda, yadda, yadda…

But I think you’re right, DeeLann, morning sickness USUALLY resolves itself by the second trimester. BUT, of course there’s no drama in that.
What surprised me yesterday was to find out they hadn’t used any protection. Now that was just stupid. There was a recent study done, sort of like the old Kinsey Report, that showed younger people were much more likely to use birth control than older people (which surprised me).
Gabby finds out she is pregnant and then immediately the next day she has horrible morning sickness.

about Sami. I think Sami will be more accepting than Rafe (not sure about Lucas) because she’s been there, done that. She also already knows Gabby is pregnant so the only surprise will be that it’s Will’s whereas Rafe is going to get a double whammy…she’s pregnant AND it’s Wills.
Yes, she is keeping a secret from Rafe because Gabby asked her to, but, how is that any different than Rafe keeping a secret from Sami because Nicole asked him to? Same dif IMO. I don’t see how she can justify it.

Twice. Mia gave up her baby to Nicole and Mimi had an abortion…which she was severly chastized for. Whoever was writing at the time was very obviously anti-abortion because she got lambasted by everybody and ending up losing Rex because of it. I don’t know if it was JRK writing at the time but he must have been Catholic because he turned every character on the show Catholic. All the Hortons and Marlena were previously Protestant but he turned them all Catholic. (Maybe Salem was having a wholesale conversion!)

sometimes you REALLY have to suspend reality. Bear was a great addition and I have a sneaky feeling the Asian guy (the forensic account) is going to become a regular also.
