Participantsorry, wrong place, I thought I was in the other one.

Participantgoing on with TPTB than even the media is privy to. I think the FBI probably already knew who they were before they even showed those videos on TV and asking if anyone knows them to come forward. They only leak out what they want us to know.
And the media is like hungry little birds, pecking at any little scrap they can get. Look how long they were reporting another “bomb” at the library, long after they knew it was only a completely unrelated fire.
But, how he got away, yeah, I’d like to know that too. There are a lot of holes in the reporting of those events but I think it’s because the media hasn’t been given the full story yet.

Participantconsent to any funny business but I just wonder if maybe the producers may lead them like telling them which designs to us or to change this or that. Remember last night when Tim told Michelle she should go with all the accessories? I think that’s the kind of thing that goes on.
I remember once before the same thing happened. Tim led someone to do something opposite they were debating over and then the judges hammered them on it. I can’t remember exactly what it was but last night I thought, “That’s exactly what happened before.” Like I said, maybe I’m just too cynical but it seems these things are coming more and more to my attention.

ParticipantI’m sure everyone here knows how much I have always liked EJ, evil or not. But somehow, I can’t seem to take his profession of love for Sami seriously because I have this gut feeling it’s not real. Nothing has happened to lead me to believe that, it’s just how I feel. (Kind of like I couldn’t come to really believe Chloe when she apologized either.)
I liked EJami when they first got together as Colleen and Santos (contrary to what most others felt) because I thought they had so much chemistry. But once they decided to pair Nicole with EJ, that, for me, was the perfect pair. So, at this point, I’m okay with them being together but I’d much prefer EJole.
Let’s have Nicole forget about scuzz-bucket and go after Rafe.

Participantmaybe I’m just getting cynical in my old age but I’m believing more and more that these reality shows are…I’m not saying “fixed” per se but…being “steered” by the producers. And I’m even including my favorite Dancing With the Stars also, along with Idol, The Great American Race, Splash, Project Runway, Next Great Baker, many that I don’t even watch…all of them.
They have all become so formulaic that you can almost predict what will happen. You see this on Undercover Boss, Wife Swap, Extreme Hoarders, etc. Same thing happens every episode.
At the VERY least, they certainly edit the shows to mislead you into thinking what they want you to think. I guess they think we are all turnips.

Participantis it a contract part or just a guest appearance?

ParticipantIt must have been another character. She was the one that first came to mind though. I can’t think of who was on while he was that it could have been. It was a secondary character, I do remember that because she was afraid they would believe him over her. And, of course, the show hushed everything up.
Keep in mind it was on all the newsgroups at the time. What the actual facts were, we may never know but the information came from a cast member who someone on the group I participated in knew personally. That was why I chose to believe it was true.

ParticipantI think the day of the super couple is gone. When soaps were in their infancy on TV, the characters were all fresh and new and hadn’t been married (or forever committed) previously to multiple partners, i.e. Erica Kane. So when they fell it love, they were truly soul mates, committed forever, etc. That can’t be done anymore because there are no “virgin” characters. Everybody has professed their undying love to someone else one or multiple times before.
A good example is Sami. How many men has she told he was her soul mate and she would love him forever, blah, blah, blah? There just isn’t anybody left to be a super couple. They would have to bring on two new characters without any previous romantic background and with writing like they used to write and I’m not sure that’s even possible anymore.

Participanta lot of people only know the character’s names and not the actor’s.
IIRC, that was one of the reasons they let him go but that wasn’t made known until after he was gone. I don’t think she did anything about it but other cast members had also complained about him. Hope was one of them. He was supposedly very suggestive and snarky to the women.
I remember being very disappointed at the time because I really liked him as Bo.

ParticipantNicole and Vargas. He just leaves me cold. He isn’t even a good villain. And he certainly doesn’t have an iota of chemistry with Nicki. Bah!

Participantpicked up a "sympathy fan base" when he was on that rehab show. Plus when dedicated that dance to his daughter he probably picked up some fans.

ParticipantI’m FAR from beong a prude but I have never found a gyrating half-nude male attractive. Especially when ir’s a character I like. Tjat image will stick with me and I’ll keep seeing while they are trying to do a serious scene. But that’ just me.
Sorry about all the typos. I’m on my iPad and just did my nails and it’s too hard to correct.

Participantback on Days. He wasn’t very well liked by some of the cast. I think it was Mimi that accused him of sexual harrassment.
