On Days Cafe "A recast leads to a storyline return"
I’m not against a recast for Bo, I wish it was Robert Kelker Kelly, but he is on GH now. Bo is an important part of the show and has a wife and child on screen. I think they should recast Bo if Peter Reckell is not willing to come back. I know that is not a popular solution but just my opinion.
Any ideas who the recast may be if not Bo?
back on Days. He wasn’t very well liked by some of the cast. I think it was Mimi that accused him of sexual harrassment.
a lot of people only know the character’s names and not the actor’s.
IIRC, that was one of the reasons they let him go but that wasn’t made known until after he was gone. I don’t think she did anything about it but other cast members had also complained about him. Hope was one of them. He was supposedly very suggestive and snarky to the women.
I remember being very disappointed at the time because I really liked him as Bo.
It must have been another character. She was the one that first came to mind though. I can’t think of who was on while he was that it could have been. It was a secondary character, I do remember that because she was afraid they would believe him over her. And, of course, the show hushed everything up.
Keep in mind it was on all the newsgroups at the time. What the actual facts were, we may never know but the information came from a cast member who someone on the group I participated in knew personally. That was why I chose to believe it was true.
I hope they don’t recast Bo….noone can play him not after all of these years….it would be the same as recasting Stephano….noone could play DiMera like he does…and noone else can be Bo…I have been watching since 1975 and he has been Bo all along except for a little bit of time when
RKK played him. I stopped watching…it was so painful to watch..he could not compare to Peter…it was so obvious. I reallly hope that Peter comes back.
the recast is cassie. and she is going to have scenes with Rafe and Kate from what i googled and what tflo wrote on the main board. hmmmmm
