I am a proud GRITS (Girl Raised in the South). I dislike and cannot understand why Judi Evans is flip flopping back and forth between a fake southern accent and a mixed up dialect that represents no specific region. Standard American aka Broadcast English is appropriate. I hope this isn’t foreshadowing another multiple personality story.

I don’t understand why Haley wants to marry Tripp instead of JJ. Is she actually attracted to him? Is she so mad at JJ that she is doing this out of spite or to make him jealous? Or do the writers need an excuse for Claire to be angry enough to kill her?  I haven’t liked the Haley character from Day 1. I don’t care if she is the D.A.’s sister or daughter. I hope they kill her off and send Claire to jail for life—after it is proven that she set that first cabin fire.

That’s funny that others have had similar thoughts. I don’t read other boards and thought I had a unique idea. Ha!!!  Time will tell.

I also FF when this girl "sings."  I long for the Days when truly talented singers performed:  Bill Hayes, Gloria Loring, and Patty Weaver. I still remember how songs were used to enhance the story. Bill’s singing the soliloquy from Carousel was breathtaking.

Maybe the razor was in the envelope that Kayla gave Abe. She told him that she took the item off of the victim. Does this mean that Abe is back on the police force? He is certainly acting like it.

It looked to me like E.J. threw the gloves toward the back left of the dumpster and the person who retrieved them took them from the front right of the dumpster. Go figure.

I’m glad to have Patrick M. back as Austin.  Unfortunately, he makes me miss the beautiful Debra Adair who played his mother, Kate.   I agree that he has aged, but he is still handsome, I think.  Something that bothers me that I never noticed before is that he seems to have a slight lisp. This makes him seem less masculine than I remember from years ago.  Has anyone else noticed?

I think the actor uses blinking as a way of showing that the character, EJ, is lying.
