only the major character in the show is shown speaking…or just by having say like Julie or Hope’s dad, tell her the next time they visit her in jail, or even Bo say, I spoke to ShawnD, he can’t come home now but he is sending his love and support…I dunno, this would only take a second of precious air time and keep the family unit (such as it is) intact. The way they are doing it, makes it seem that Hope has only had her daughter and not Shawn.
$200 and go directly to jail, I don’t think you can keep anything personal – can be sold for contraband and used as a weapon…and if Hope is in the delicate state of mind, she could also fashion some sort of item that may be used to injure herself. Once again, Salem PD (or the writers)…flub up. And if they are going to give us the enxcuse, "…Well…we can’t think of everything…"
and nothing can deter her…and she is totally a "Me, ME, My" person, if it doesn’t involve her, it doesn’t exsist for her.
but if he is Carly’s brother, has she mentioned him even once she has been back on the show? Just curious, now that I know Carly has family…and why does Victor hate her so much – this was also before my time…(almost 20 years now)….you’d think I’d know the whole kitten-kaboodle of the story line history but every day I learn something new from you guysies!
Mrs. H passed or a few other things that have happened in her life, (like his parents splitting up?) – these kinds of things drive me batty…
but after looking at the web site you sent BonBon – I say "BRING BACK Nick Alemain!!!" "Now!" Us fans will make up story lines for him – the writer’s won’t have to do anything….
but why if the writer’s wrote a scene of Hope removing all of her personnel possessions at the booking, (which they make you do when you are going to jail according to all the movies I’ve seen), why then didn’t the writer’s write her removal of her earings and her rings.
The reason, (from what I understand) that you must remove valubles, especially all jewelry as it could be used as a weapon or traded for contraband…Seems to me the writers would have not overlooked this but since KA sells the jewelry, that she may have an agreement to show the earings on air at all times.
I must get bored with a story and look at these obvious details instead of paying attention to the story…and some of them glare out like a big flashing neon light…
While I like Kate’s character, for her story line with Victor and Stefano…her family history as a mother with her all children is abysmal: Austin, Lucas, Billie, Rex and Cassie. All of whom she never mentions, never sees, (we don’t know off camera if she chats with them via phone calls) and they don’t seem to like really seeing her either…so they are going to give her another kid (Chad) to "mother"…GMAB!!!

Bo and Carly are still together, Ciara is living with B&C. Ciara is SORAS’d to a teen and giving Bo, Carly and every one else in Salem fits – she is ten times worse than Sami was when she saw John and Marlena in the board room on the table. In fact, that could be why Hope is let out early from prison.
Hope blames Ciara’s teenage terror on being "raised" by Carly, (Hope will not, of course, be taking responsiblity for her part in how her child turned out). Carly and Bo having a falling out due to Ciara’s minipulations – Bo siding with Hope… and voila! One big happy Salem family with lot’s of future story lines – troubled teen, family on edge, jilted misunderstood lover, yada-yada.

After a time, I can get used to another actor playing a part – the only ones I don’t think I ever could have done that for would have been John (Drake) and Marlena (Diedre) and probably Stefano (Joe) now. I got used to a new Belle, Shawn, Kate, Lexie, Phillip, even a Sami, Bo, Hope, etc., took me awhile on some of them…others fit right in…probably because there was a long gap in the story line for most of them. by right of the 9th amendment in the Constitution, will always win out in the HIPPA matter, however, I have grave doubts about this.
I applaud your foresight and prudence to carry your health history with you at all times. I also carry a form with pertinent current medical information in my wallet clipped to my driver license as well, (I know several people who do). To me, it is a matter of personal responsiblity to advocate for ones own medical care, and not in my opinion, the electrified computer age nanny state to implement this. More and more each day American’s cede and capitulate their individual liberties to "Big Brother" and eventually such actions will result in our country’s own "1984".
As for the National ID card – I think that is only a prelude to one world government (and all it’s horrors) and I continue to rail against this travesty with all my being.
I doubt the writers in Day’s will do anything as advanced to have the two student nurses and Dr. Dan sanctioned in any way shape or form for invasion of privacy of an individual patient.
