I read on soaps.com the following spoiler:
Kate’s flashback reveals Chad’s real father.
Hmmm…Any guests as to WHO his real father could be? I say either Tony or Stefano!
Nickey Alamain. I read somewhere that Stefano doesn’t trust Chad, and that his adoptive father, D.A. Woods, once again accuses him of murdering his mother, which Kate either overhears or Chad tells her, and when Kate tries to comfort him, he tells Kate thanks, but she wouldn’t understand because she’s not his family, and when he walks away, under her breath Kate responds with something like ‘that’s where you’re wrong.’ This is going to sound like a long shot, but my guess now is that Nikey Alamain is his father, and Kate is his mother and she gave him to Madeline to raise as her own. Like I said, just a guess, but I’m not so sure now that Stefano is his father.
While I like Kate’s character, for her story line with Victor and Stefano…her family history as a mother with her all children is abysmal: Austin, Lucas, Billie, Rex and Cassie. All of whom she never mentions, never sees, (we don’t know off camera if she chats with them via phone calls) and they don’t seem to like really seeing her either…so they are going to give her another kid (Chad) to "mother"…GMAB!!!

…Also, I highly doubt that Kate is his mother…The spoiler stated that Kate’s flashback will reveal who his REAL father is, not mom; I assuming if Kate was his real mom (or someone else, for that matter was his real mom), that would be apart of her flashback. As Patti, maybe the part where Kate whispers something about "that’s where you’re wrong," relating to family, maybe she means – since she’s an official Dimera via marriage – that if Chad really is Stefano’s, Tony’s…or EJ’s, she and him would be family too.
be like. I don’t think that could be Stefano or Tony because Stefano and Tony have always been the same.
What if it’s someone like Curtis Reed or Bill Horton? Now that would be a twist no one saw coming!
Kate is his biological mother, that Madeline helped her deliver Chad, and then Kate gave him to Madeline to raise. There was an awful lot left unsaid between Kate and Madeline, much more than was shown, that’s for certain. It wasn’t just about the murder of the Congressman, IMHO.
the full-grown son of Lawrence Alamain and Carly Manning, who Kate had a ‘cougar’ fling with back in her day. Speaking of which, I always wondered why Carly never told Melanie that she has an older brother.
But wouldn’t Kate have known before she broke into Madeline’s lockbox and saw the document that she was Chad’s mother.
I’m thinking as someone mentioned previously, Kate and Madeline were sisters or related somehow. Madeline got pregnant by Stefano or someone they both know but she hid the pregnancy and told everyone she adopted Chad.
you missed out on a real dilly there. He was probably (IMO) one of the best looking men ever on Days. He started out as a young boy but was brought back later SORASed to, oh, probably mid-twenties. He looked a lot like EJ, tall, dark and handsome!
Billy was kind of showing some interest in him but he and Kate got together. Even though she knew about Billie’s feelings for him. UGH!
That was me Bonbon who thought they could be sisters. I still think thats whats going on.
And by the way, Sami STILL hasnt said that she loves EJ. but she’s still saying she still loves Rafe!
she has just left how many people who told her what a mistake she would be making to hook up with EJ. And then goes and tells him, yes, I’ll marry you. OMG!
he looked like MY beloved EJ?! Ahhhh! Where was I during his time on the show?! Hubba! Hubba! Zing! Zing!
but after looking at the web site you sent BonBon – I say "BRING BACK Nick Alemain!!!" "Now!" Us fans will make up story lines for him – the writer’s won’t have to do anything….
