Participantgreen balony sandwiches! My kind of justice! Love Sheriff Joe! You don’t like it, don’t do the crime! All prisons should be like that, no more big screen t.v.’s, no weight rooms, no nothing…just breakin’ rocks in the hot sun and knowing the law won! Maybe the 90% recidivism rate would drop to 30%!!!

ParticipantYeah! I knew someone had to tell me about it! Thanks ladies! I love those kinds of shows too. I have a guilty secret that I watch a show you wouldn’t think an old lady like me would watch – but I do…it’s one of my favorite all time shows – and like I mentioned in another post, it is like a soap opera too! Which is why I think I love it so much. It did it’s season finale last week and wwwwwwwwwwwwahhhhhhhhhh waaaaaaaaaahhhh – I have to wait until September for the forth season to start. I love good drama’s.

Participantalmost a years worth of posts to see who it was. It was actually spellec SouthLAnd (cop show about LA area) – it was pretty decent show. It’s been off about ten months now and I thought (and hoped) it was just about due to start on the new season (which normally starts in January). One of you ladies highly recommended it and it was a great watch!

Participantfor all, some, a few, new audience watchers all of the time, when they do things like put all prisoners in the "OJ" jumpsuits. It’s "titillation" when people are channel surfing and you come across a woman’s prison story. Granted, we, (us major die-hard fans), all know Hope’s entire history from the time she was 8 or so years old, and we know why she is in prison. However, most people who do not know the premise of the show or watch, would stop and at least watch for a few seconds, or minutes to see why this beautiful woman is in a prison outfit. Instead of showing reality of how prisoners actually dress, (like you mentioned jeans/sweatshirts, etc.), the writers are going for a wider net of viewers to watch the show and help sell advertising. Either that, or now I look for ulterior motives in everything – OH MY Gosh…I’ve become………………………..Stefano!

Participantcan’t even sing anymore. I think everyone deserves to be paid for the fruits of their labor, but if they are singing old tunes (and heck, the Beatles are old), what is the harm?

Participantand got the goods on Stef and EJayze…if I was Stefano, I’d fire all the goons he’s got "protecting" his house and family, and double check for those holes in the garden wall (like you mentioned).

Participantand ELR is on TVLand (I think)…Rosanne is on after ELR but she’s banned on my t.v. ever since she screeched the National Anthem on purpose. And 11ish is my turn off the light time anyway. January is HIC again – love Betty White on that show (and everything she does). Yeah, but they bleep the BLEEP out off Hell’s Kitchen on the channel that it’s on don’t they??? So I would watch it. No prude here or anything, I just choose to not listen to some of it if I can help it…guess it’s because of my age or whatever…that being said one of my most favorite all time shows (that just had it’s finale last night) is pretty graphic and edgy. It’s kind of a "soap" too in it’s own way.

Participantdifferent degree) but yes, I still love her because she was my Mother but I didn’t respect her as a person. And her sister and the rest of the family says the same thing. Love the sinner, hate the sin. I guess.

ParticipantChopped ones you were speaking of. Last night was the 3rd season finale of a show that I’m really addicted too – so I watched that instead at 10p.m. and DVR’d the Chopped which came on at the same time here. I’ll watch Hell’s Kitchen just as long as not every word out of his mouth isn’t the F bomb. I’m going to surf over to the Cooking Channel and see what they’ve got. I’ve only watched a couple of their shows, but now that FN is mostly reruns and such…it may be time to see what’s cookin’.
Not much of anything on these days, fall season is just about over, and with the holidays, a lot of shows have been put on haitus. It’s slim pickin’s (pun intended), so I’m watching a lot of Golden Girls, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Nanny. I know them all by heart but the funny thing is that when those shows were on the air, I never watched. I was just thinking about this the other day and was going to start a thread on shows that are off and have been off the air for a long time, that are new because we didn’t watch them for whatever reason when they were on. I often complain, 250 (or however many) channels and there’s not a darn thing on to watch!
