able to see the wall board in the back ground holding the trees up LOL!  I remember before I ever got caught up in Days seeing soaps when surfin’ thru the channels and they looked the same "fake" as Day’s does today…budget crunch is hitting everywhere.  I thought a few years ago that eventually the scenery would be all done and generated with computers like so many of the movies these days…guess that is too expensive too right now.   Can of paint (no matter how ugly the color) is cheaper than new stairs, furniture and updated paneling in the DeMansion.

she was the one the fans loved to hate when she does crummy things (and she’s done a lot of crummy things) – and even Dee Hall said she liked playing the "bad" guy more than milk toast Marlena as it was more interesting.  I’d much rather watch EJ than boring ol’ pridictable Rafe.  (And I like but not love Rafe).  Wait, for it.  Rafe will get a story line some day, that he becomes the bad guy…look what they’ve done to Brady the last six months. Who’da thunk???

or form but when "they" have visited in my home for the last 20 or so years, one does tend to become vested in

"their lives".   EJ is a favorite of mine, the same as Stefano, Kate, Victor, Nicole and Sami are – (all "bad guys" in my opinion), they have all at one time or another have been ugly and shamful.  Heck, even my beloved John had his bad ass side.  I think it’s just EJ’s turn in the barrel due to the Yin and Yang (good and evil or dark and light if you will) of the show.  It would be a pretty boring show if all we had to watch was Maggie or in the past Mrs. H. (rest her soul).

either mechanical or his thugs, at the DeMansion since EJ’s shooting.  You’d think it would be Ft. Knox now but everyone just waltzes in at will.

(all I remember in my "Days" life time of 20 years is Carly and Billie) besides Hope, – I just heard of them throught the DOOL history web sites – Britta, Megan, Janet, Diane?

this story line doesn’t need to be explored now…there is so much sadness and strife in real life these days…We cannot even watch an escapism t.v. show without being inundated with the horrors of the world at is what suppose to be a joyous and special hopeful time of the year.  Shame once again on the writers.  Shame!

Yes, I forgot the Artichoke festival too – fun time to be had there!  Loved driving down the road and smelling the garlic.  Isn’t the garlic ice cream a hoot – it’s fun to tell folks you’ve had it because they all go ICK! but all and all it wasn’t too bad…not something I’d order on a regualr basis to be sure…Tempura Fried asperagas was the ultimate yummy!  I love the end of summer here with all the country fairs and such.  Right down the road from here there’s a huge Asperagas farm – we buy a case or two at a time.  We all quit going to the California State fair in Sacto because of all the gangbangers years ago…in fact the last time I went with friends their Audi got stolen right out of the parking lot.  So we had to call other friends to come take us home…but the little county fairs are still with the pie eating contests and more of a little town feel.

Benry go, he always kinda hung back from the cutthroats…I don’t want Daniel to win, he’s not deserving – he’s not done one thing that I could see other than mooch off the others…Think Sash should go next week as well as Fabboyo (tee-hee) …then Dan…and Holly and Jane and Chase will duke it out…but I was glad last week when NaaaaaaaaaaNOTOKa went – I don’t think she or the other quitter KellyPink or whatever should be allowed on the jury.

favorite places on earth) when I used to frequent San Francisco – don’t anymore due to Gavin changing the city into a dump.  Sad.  But yes, that was a great place to get and taste it.  Huge wheels of cheese as far as the eye could see!  That and some of the sour dough bread…ahhhhhhh heaven!  No, haven’t been by the Cowgirl Creamery, I’m going to have to look for that as I think that’s by Santa Rosa just down the road an hour and a half or so.  We have some great festivals and food here in Northern Cali.  The Gilroy Garlic festival, the Peach Festival, the Asperagas (sp – I can never spell that correctly) Festival!   Fortuna has great dairy’s over for cheese by Ft. Bragg, Mendicino area with great seafood too…now, I have to go cook dinner…yummmmmmmmmmmmm.

going to receive a million bucks, and granted a million after taxes isn’t that much these days, but I’d rather see the other people who were voted off be on the jury.  What mom used to say is true!  Quitters never win and Winners never quit!  I’m sure there were/are a lot of other people that would have given their eye teeth or fake leg to still be in the game.

Kate and Stefano (please, all, forgive me).  They were the best at being bad…and together were formidable.  Oh well, end of a very short era…Please writer’s just let Victor be protective of Kate against Vivian for old times sake, don’t put them together again – I like Maggie reforming Victor too much!

growing up in Europe, I learned the finer points of cheese, and it ain’t Velveeta (not that there is anything wrong with that LOL!) …they have entire stores on every street corner dedicated to cheese.  Yummmmmmmmmy.  And Wisconsin and California, (Sonoma, Napa areas) also have cheese to rival the European cheeses, just like we rival and supersede the European wines over here now in the USA.

yesterday to fix my computer, but now it’s Thursday morning – every time I type at SP or another site – I have to reboot my entire computer and it will not let me open webby sites from my Email even – got a new security system on my computer – but I think it’s wound just a bit too tight – and it’s doing other things like the icons for cut and paste, Bold and underline, color ect., are on the far left part of the screen and I can’t even click on them to use them.

Is this a comerical for Wisconsin Swiss cheese?  Maybe Real California Cheese can get him as spokesperson too!  The cows they had a couple of years ago in their commericals were a hoot!
