in the state of California we had caller ID on  our landline phones since the late 90’s, it didn’t show the person calling but showed the telephone number so if you knew the numbers of the people calling you’d know who was calling (even from outside state telephone numbers).   In 2002, because of 9/11, we got total caller Id with the names as well.  Stephanie would know Kala’s number either with cell phone or landline phone so she would have know it was her mom.  I can’t remember how long I’ve had caller ID on my home phone but it’s been eons (at least since 2000 or before).

what he’s doing right now) but I don’t think Nicole will be so prominent in EJ’s life. Brady is going to fight for Nicole, he is of Kiriakis blood after all, and we’ve seen a different side of Brady where he’s not so milk-toasty in the last six or so months.   I think there is more to be seen of Brady and Nicole.

knee surgeries (many of them from first hand experience) and it is no fun.  Isn’t it amazing what the doctors can do with medicine and operations now-a-days?  That and a prayer to the Almighty is the best thing in the world.  Keep the updates coming and we’ll keep the prayers going!!!

    All the best!

where in the world, (Paris to Africa) where they didn’t have first class reception and service…when I got my cell – I was chatting with the sales lady and she watched Day’s too and we were laughing at that when I said I want the same service plan that they do in Salem!

him around even with another woman in the picture (besides Sami and Nicole), and give him a much softer side.  I know you have to have a bad guy in the show for a good story line, but even baddies don’t have to take it out on their families and loved ones like EJ has been doing the past six months…in fact, I would think baddies would be much nicer to their families, because everyone else in the world is out to get them.   Look at the "Godfather" movies "how close they were" (said tongue-in-cheek)  .  And the DeMira’s are patterned some what off of the Corleone familia.

take a peek at the Christmas show I had saved on the DVR and everyone in Sami’s house hold matched in the blue…I thought they were dressing up and being color cordinated for a Christmas family picture or something like that.  Then Sami opened up her mouth again so Day’s is accumulating "time" on my DVR once again…either that or I’d turn blue in the face from having to listen to her whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnne again for the millionth time.

just hanging right out there all the time as well, reminds me also of Elvira!  Wear a sweatshirt once in awhile and be a normal woman Chloe – you are too much like a Barbie doll.

speak to Daniel, he "hogs" the conversation and assumes that he knows what they are going to say and just carries on and on and turns the story into another direction and he never learns the truth.  I’ve noticed that several times.  I know it’s a ploy by the writers (and they do this way too much IMHO), but as far as the characters go, I’d want to grab someone, (i.e., Daniel) that did that by the shoulders and shake the snot outta them and say "LISTEN to me for a second will ya please!!!???!!! – I’m trying to tell you the truth!!!"

to make their hair longer and fuller.  I remember seeing several just on Day’s that one day they had a semi-short do and the very next day in the next scene had long flowing locks it seemed.   Yes, you are all correct Maggie needs a new-do desperately – and a more richer shade of color as sometimes she looks a bit washed out.

Chloe – she needs to take about 7 inches off and go to a couple of shades lighter (and stop wearing all that eye liner and full makeup – like she’s going out on the town in New York City to the Ritz – at 8:00 a.m.!  She is such a beautiful woman – but it’s like she’s hiding behind all the make-up and hair because she is insecure.

and send the writers some kind of computer history program that when they write something weird, (ahhhhh, that is almost every day now), that it will POP up on their screen and "remind" them that they can’t do that!  This way they don’t have to drive us all crazy with rewritten, rehashed and absurd "history".  "LIKE IT NEVER EVER HAPPENED" … Oh yes, it did!!!!!

of course 9/11 (not that we will ever get over that), and what to call the 2000’s.  Remember some calling it    ought-2, ought-6, and finally settled on 2000 and 1, 2, 3, etc. and now we also have to remember in the check books to put ones in front of the last number.

Very good question Casey, on why does time fly so fast as each year goes by and we get older.  I remember when school was out for the summer from early childhood into my teens and those three months of lazy-hazy hot summer groovin’ days seemed to just last forever.  Now, woooooooooosh!  Another year has flown and is gone.

When my Dad was alive, I asked him once why it seemed like time flew by so fast, he said, "honey, you just turned 40, wait until you get my age and see how fast the years fly by…"  And he was right!

Guess, like the old "59th Street Bridge Song" by Simon and Garfunkel goes, "….Slow down, you move too fast.  You got to make the morning last.  Just kicking down the cobble stones.  Looking for fun and feelin’ groovy…"

Or in other words, stop and enjoy life – we’re only given 70 or 80 years on the planet to do so.  Let’s make this year count and be great!
