In reading the posts and articles on who’s coming back, who’s rumored to come back and who people would like to come back I got to thinking of some characters that haven’t been seen in years, like more than 10-20 years. That’s enough time that they could write some great stories and not have to rewrite recent history to do it.
I’d love to see Steven Olson (Julie’s brother) return. The actor I remember was Stephen Schnetzer (Cass Winthrop on Another World). He was a bit of a con man if I remember and I could see some great stories with him.
David Banning (Julie’s son). He also had a son Scotty that I’d like to see return.
Are there any characters from the distant past you’d like to see return?
anymore…you want me to remember 20 years ago? Hahahhaha! Who was the lady that John (sorry I have him on the brain) that he married/was going to marry? Illene? And oh, for comic relief, Susan! EJ and his Mom together – what a hoot!!!! I’d be ROFLMAO !!!
Are you referring to Peter’s sister Kristin Blake (Eileen Davidson)? Yeah, Kristen and Susan at the same time only this time have Kristen imitate Susan to get to EJ. She was also that nun, Sr. Moira and there was a brother too right? It would be funny if Sr. Moira had a connection to that convent that Sami and Rafe went to and she had a part in Rafe’s childhood.
John was also going to marry another woman but can’t remember her name. She was played by Shannon Tweed or was that Chris that was involved with her. Maybe both were.
and Victor K. John was involved with Kristin Blake and Susan (not by choice on the latter) and there was some other dark haired woman that he was with a one point. Marlena’s sister, Samantha, was killed by the Salem Strangler. I’d love to see Chris. K. come back and have the FauxRoman disappear for a while.
they would just not be relevant to today’s characters and stories, but from maybe the last 10-12 years, yes, definitely I would love to see the return of:

Billie Reed;
Steve and Kayla Johnson;
Eugene and Calliope Bradford;

Anna DiMera;
Kim and Shane Donovan;

Shane and Kim, I know they were on recentely, but I would love to see them come back and some of their kids to mix in with Gabi, Sonny, and Will. Maybe one of the boys could be interested in Gabi.
Scotty, I loved him when he was on before. He could mix with the Sami/EJ/Brady age group. Maybe a possible live interest with Nicole which would really piss Julie off
I vote for Chris K. He was too cool LOL. Loved Tony and Rene Dimera together. Anna too. Jessica Fallon. Dr. Neil Curtis LOL. Liz Chandler too.
Craig and Nancy to come back. They were always good for some comic relief. And, Joy could have a storyline. At least that family wasn’t related to everyone in town. They should have come back when Chloe needed them so badly, but maybe they could come back now before she leaves.
I would love Craig and NAcny to come back too, but then Chloe is out. they would have their other child who is probably either close to Ciera’s age or older. Joy. I think Craig and Nancy would give Vivian a run for her money!!!
More like 30 years ago but I always liked Don Craig. Great character
Neil Curtis as well. He played his part so well.
Many more come to mind but alas they have been killed off, but that never stopped soaps from bringing people back I guess.
