it looks like the thinking that John and Brady might be working together on turning the tables on Kristen isn’t what’s happening. If they were in this together, they certainly wouldn’t be acting like they did yesterday when no one is around. I’m getting the feeling that this is John’s plan alone. My hope is that all his nastiness toward Marlena is part of it and that he’ll give her a huge apology at some point and explain what he’s doing. And I hope it happens very soon!
it was obvious that Brady is definitely not in cohoots w/his father on Kristen. If John is alienating Marlena as part of his plan I think it’s pretty crummy.
about John and Brady in that they are NOT working together. Brady is just the complete moron I always believed him to be. I almost wish John would just back off and let his stupid yet adult son take care of Kristen and make amends with Marlena before he drives her away too. It’s not like anyone hasn’t noticed how far apart J&M have become, especially Roman who has been sniffing around Doc lately. And I don’t think Roman would intentionally try to come between them in a romantic way, because I think he knows he’s been down that road before and lost pathetically. But he’s not going to stand idly by while Marlena begs and pleads with John to forgive her either. It’s going to take a royal screw-up on Kristen’s part to make Brady see that J&M were right all along. But if John continues blaming Marlena, all of John’s effort it took to get Brady back may not have been worth it.
How many parents don’t approve of who their child picks to fall in love with? And then how many go through this much drama about it? Holy cow, destroy a marriage, estrange your only son, spend practically every waking hour stewing about it? This is just too much. Grow the hell up, every friggin’ one of you morons.
Actually I should say pretty much the same to Jen, Dan, Chloe, Nancy and Maggie too. Oh, let’s throw Abby in there too. Did I leave anyone out that needs a good wake-up call? I won’t even start on Will and Gabi.
Many families have gotten into intense battles due to a child’s choice of a mate. It might have to do with age, religion, race, previous marital status, children of mate, etc. Usually, it is eventually worked out, but sometimes there are hard feelings.
It mostly comes from parents’ concern that a child might be making a mistake, or that the intendent is not a good person. It can lead to a complete split where there it no contact with the child. ( I have personally seen it happen).
In John’s case, part of the problem is it is KRISTEN, a woman HE once was in love it and almost married. Also Kristen has made it clear that she IS playing Brady. he feels powerless and yet feels the need to protect his son. I don’t think that it is that far fetched.
As far a Chloe. Many women use a child to try to trap a man. But Jen is just being as childish. She is suppose to be older and wiser than Chloe!!!
