This Abby/Chad/Gabi/Dario (and throw in Eli) debaucle is growing more confusing and ridiculous by the day. Abby yo-yos from wanting her independence to crying on Dario’s shoulder, and this immigration stunt (which you know she’s going to agree to) is hardly good for Thomas. But then Abs never puts her son first.
I really can’t stand any of them right now and I sure hope the new writers manage to right the ship.check out the spoilers on Days Cafe , this is what we have to look forward to, "Thank you very much" NOT!
keep an undocumented person in the country? I guess some of this is a victim of writing 6 months ahead, but they are deporting folks married for many years to citizens and who are parents to citizens. And how did she get a divorce so fast, she just filed last week? Seems to me, it takes a long time for the divorce process to take place. Chad has not even been in the country to contest it! Terrible writing.
I have watched about 10 minutes of this show in the last two weeks. I read the spoilers and I don’t know if I’m going to watch anymore. I just can’t stomach the show. It’s gone from bad to worse. I’ve been watching since the 60s, when I was little, and it’s so awful now. Maybe I’ll be interested when Allie returns, but even that storyline is looking pretty bad.
RE: Dario–His father is an American citizen. That gives him the right to citizenship. unless I am mistaken
we get some relief (and entertainment!) with the incoming staff. After watching today, yikes, when did Nicole become so dumb to blindly trust anyone in Greece? This is cringe-worthy!
The deportation storyline was apparently written and filmed shortly after last November’s election. I guess it’s the writers attempt to keep up with current events. Was that The Donald’s signature on the deportation letter? (lol)
We know Dario wants Abby.
Suppose he paid those people to impersonate immigration officals and the papers he is showing her are phony.
This could be a huge fraud to get her away from Chad and have her for himself.
If this is the case, he could land in jail with pop
How are Gabi and Rafe citizens, but not Dario? And yes, if you have one parent who’s a citizen, you are a citizen, regardless of where you’re born. Otherwise, there would be a lot of military kids who aren’t citizens.
all Dario has to do is re-file papers and he’s fine. But for him to lie to Abby like this and use her (despite his so-called “love” for her) shows what I’ve always felt about this guy from the getgo – he’s definitely the black sheep of the family.
Rafe must have been born in the USA, which automatically makes him a citizen, regardless of his parents’ status. Next came Dario, born in Mexico, so his parents could not have been US citizens yet (or else he would be, too). By the time Arianna (deceased) and Gabi were born, it was either in the USA, so they would automatically be citizens, or if either of them were born in Mexico, one of their parents had to be a citizen by then.
