I don’t know if anyone knows this or not, but at the end of the week that EJ & Kristen end up abducted. This is problematic. The writers know very well that Feuerriegel’s EJ has the perception that he is Nicole’s baby-daddy & they think it’s wise move to have him leave Nicole without the help that he’s willing to give her, it’s too reminiscent of what a possessed Allie had done to Johnny by locking him up in his family’s mausoleum. Then giving way tooooooooooo much airtime to Nurse Whitley. Then thinking the viewers want to see a Dynasty redux with having Kayla & Marlena ending up spoofing Krystal & Alexis. Remember, Kristen is trying to get full custody of Rachel as well. Then they think that Megan can get the shares from Li Chen & getting Harris under her control again, to abduct EJ & Kristen, when there was a reason to get him out of her control. This pertains to Shawn. I don’t like saying this, but to me, they should have kept Bo under Megan’s control & having no one to know that he’s alive, the reason is because it would allow the story for Megan to win again by destroying Shawn, because they put it into play for Shawn to destroy himself when it came to him shooting his father, don’t you think? Gwen has a history of wedded misfortune, is she so willing to have it happen again, once these nups are halted by anyone?
So are you saying that Megan is going to get Harris Michaels back under her control and have him kidnap EJ and Kristin? I can almost see how it would be beneficial to have EJ out of her way, but why Kristin. She’s been quite aligned with Kristin since they were in prison. Who else is going to support her takeover of Dimera, if she kidnaps Kristin. I don’t see Stefan, Tony, Chad, or Johnny supporting her. I know she wants to get Li Shin on her side, but that’s just one ally. If this is her plan, it’s a stupid one.
I also totally agree with too much air time for this stupid Nurse Whitley storyline. At first, I thought how exciting. We’re going to give Abe a major storyline. But now it looks like we gave Nurse Whitley, a non-existent character until two weeks ago, a major storyline. Abe just sits around looking confused, and they have Paulina in a hospital bed yelling at people. Worse than all of this is the fact that the Salem PD has yet to look at security footage. Did they get rid of it all after that doctor kidnapped Eli’s and Lani’s twins? I cannot believe these bumbling idiots, Rafe and Jada, haven’t even looked at it. WTF! The writers must think the viewers didn’t notice that.
Then this, they even had Dimitri bringing up who his father is. Get this, Oskar von Leuschner, when the only von Leuschners are Carly Manning & her brother Frankie, the other two are Alamains, Laurence & Leopold, I might add. The third one was G’Vera’s Henri von Leuschner, he was only seen in flashbacks, I can’t see how Oskar was in those flashbacks with G’Vera’s Henri, given as to when the writers wrote up the story for Dimitri to bring up, you tell me how we are to believe that this show will last for two more years, given with the content that we are seeing?
It’s all so contrived. They’ve run out of decent stories for the core cast, so they brought back Megan, made Dimitri her son, and now they get a major storyline. So sad for core characters.
The Nurse Whitley storyline is ridiculous! I hope it ends this week or next, the sooner the better. What is the purpose of it? It seems to be a random story to fill time. Whitley needs to be sent to the institution where Ava and Philip are.
