Just a few things I found annoying:
1. Bo arrives first at the warehouse and picks Hope up. Carly called in "an officer down" and said it was Hope and yet Bo is the first to arrive?
2. Not only is he first but didn’t he learn anything in first aid class?! I can’t imagine picking up a person who was buried under heavy boxes instead of waiting for a backboard and neck brace to be sure you aren’t paralyzing the victim if they have a spinal injury.
3. Chloe left the wedding because she was sick and yet she had time to go home and change clothes before arriving at the hospital to meet up with Daniel?
4. What ‘lights’ did Nate leave on? I thought a motorcycle only had 1 light? Or, did they use a real car to get to the lodge? Since he went to the K mansion on a motorcycle, it seems strange.
5. Couldn’t Philip afford a haircut for his wedding? Sorry if I’m offending anyone but his hair is not making him look attractive at all.
I thought the same thing! Stupid Bo…then he carries her out of the building…Yeah, and with Phillip…I think they are trying to make him appear younger for Melanie….cause he looked more groomed and mature with Stephanie. Tisk tisk…please put him back with Stephanie! I hate this sl, how can he suddenly "love" Melanie????
I hate that everyones looking at Carly while she’s flipping out and she doesn’t say Vivian was trying to kill Melanie. Or Vivian tried to kill Hope and myself.
I know this was Friday too, but I hate that Mel was unconscious on the bed and next we see her downstairs, perky and no explanation. No Brady finding her. Just bad writing…
1. I think Bo saw the text message before Carly called the 9-1-1 call in. So Bo was probably on his way before the ambulance was.
2. I agree with you, that was my first thought too.
3. Didn’t think of that one, other than, at that point the reception was going on. I mean they said Mel was gone for 30 minutes or something like that. So time I think was just moving fast on the show today.
4. I didn’t care, any excuss to get Nathan and Steph to stop what they were doing was fine with me.
I do hate this SL, but maybe with Mel getting shot, the whole Phil & Mel thing will slow down and give Mel a chance to be with Nathan. Because you know as soon as he finds out what happens he is rushing away from Steph to see Mel. Hopefully before anything happens between them!
The Bachelor show and he’s acting like the Bachelor who falls in love with everyone he meets for different reasons? lol
this whole scenario of Vivian and Carly? Will Hope have amnesia and forget everything she saw at the warehouse? I’m so hesitant to hope for some real accountability with this situation and the characters…ohmygosh, did I say accountability? I must be thinking of some other show….sorry!
They all just happen to “fall in love” with 3 or more people out of 25 and end up with the one I guess who they’re “most” in love with!
than I ever did in the past. Sorry, but to me everything else was just over the top and/or bad drama. Why did Mel jump in front of Vivian when she knows damn well the woman was trying to throw her off the roof? Who gets shot and just passes out with no writhing in pain, no screaming out, and oh so little show of blood? Who’s 30 minute old wife gets shot, by her mother, no less, and her brand new hubby doesn’t sweep her up in his arms, and talks to HER……instead of arguing with the shooter? Yes, absolutely, who moves a person from under a supposedly very heave collapse on her body without thinking about further damage, or without waiting for an EMT? I could go on, and on, and on, and on, but what’s the use? It won’t change until we get writers who know how to write, directors who know how to direct, and actors who know how to act, regardless of the lines or script they are given. I can’t agree with CC’s greatness; sorry, to me so far she’s waaaaaayyyyy overly dramatic; Melanie still talks and acts like a giddy school girl who loves to make ridiculous contortions with her mouth and face. And, please, don’t even get me started on Stephanie and Nathan. Now, what I did love today were the scenes between Victor and Maggie; Stefano and Kate; and Vivian’s smooth way of handling Carly’s favor to her, especially throwing the pipe off the roof. That was priceless.
At least they got the gun shot wound right. Usually there’s so much blood at the point of entry when that doesn’t hardly bleed at all. They should have been steming the blood flow at her back at the EXIT wound instead.
And the Bo thing with Hope was bad, bad, bad. That gives the viewers terrible information. You NEVER move someone until you’re certain there are no spinal injuries. Not only that, they play way to loose with unconsciouness on this show. That is a very serious thing to be out for any period of time, VERY serious and you don’t pronounce that they will be okay while they’re still out. Did they do an MRI, or CT Scan, or even plain ol’ x-rays? Don’t get ME going! It’s not that hard to get it right.
Same thing with Chloe. Who would do an ultra-sound before she’s even been examined by an Ob-Gyn and confirmed pregnant? I don’t think even a staff doctor could handle that.
Daniel brought her in to do the test? I thought he had called her an OB but I half watch at times so it’s possible I misunderstood.
I cringed when I saw Bo picking up Hope, and I don’t have a medical background! Even I know that is a really huge, "No-NO!" Thanks for confirming it, Bonbon!
As to Melanie: Did the shot go through her? My guess is that it’s in there and will eventually cause her not to be able to have kids or some such thing! Isn’t that how it usually works for this show?
would have definitely gone all the way through her and into Viv also. Unless it was a small caliber and hit a bone or something. I guess that’s possible. And the exit wound is always much larger than the entrance hole yet there was no blood on the ground. <scratching head> Daniel said it was close to her heart so it should have no bearing on her child-producing capabilities. But this is Days, so who knows?
so I would say it was perhaps a Glock 9 or something of that caliber; should have blown a hold through both of them.
cops tend to like Glock 9 mm weapons (unless you’re Inspector Harry Callahan who uses a 44. Magnum which would have gone through both of the and probably the wall too), so it should have gone into Vivian also. What a shame!
The ultrasound thing bugged me, too. If she just found out that she was pregnant, they would only do an ultrasound to date the pregnancy, and they would only see a "peanut". Why did they throw in "you may find out the sex of your baby"? Anyone who’s had a baby knows that it would be MONTHS before they could tell the sex of the baby. Ridiculous and UNNECESSARY!!
