    Does anyone else think that the actress playing SP Trask is overdoing it?………and that smirk she has. I’d like to wipe it off her face. We all know, I guess, that will happen when Sami gets off–not a spoiler, I just don’t think she’ll be convicted. I just wish she would tone down her “acting”…..very annoying.

    she acts rough and tough, all guns a blazin’ it will create more drama. But who knows – maybe she’s being directed that way.

     It’s such bad acting that it’s comical. Why can’t she tone it down and make it more believable. As the wife of an attorney, it’s very hard for me to watch "acting" like this.

    and having worked as a legal assistant for more than 30 years, I’ve seen far too many of these types of ‘over-achievers’ in my day. The judge called her on it a couple of times, and most judges will do that; however, all the attorney cares about is that they’re getting their point imbedded straight into the jury’s mind, even though the lawyer was warned about his/her overzealous line of questioning. Yes, I find Trask to be extremely annoying, but if she makes her point with the jury, that’s all she cares about. It’s up to the judge to put her in her place and possibly slap a contempt charge on her if she continues to badger or attempt to put words into a witness’s mouth.

     We can’t really blame the actors for that.  It is obviously the way the director wants them to be.

     i have two comments to make about the prosecutor;

    1. I feel that she is up and coming in the town and feels that winning this case can make a name for her, so she is all in. She wants to appear strong and unconcerned that she is taking on the DiMeras who are very powerful. That is why she acts tough and direct.

    2. I feel that attorneys in general are all actors. The way they present a case can make or break it. I actually feel that this is realistic in that she is trying to appear strong and independent, one who is not afraid of the DiMera. THe say the best defense is a good offense. She proved today that she is not dumb enough to fall for Justin’s plan.

    So fae she is holding her own as far as the trial is going.
