That’s the question of the week… Many say Daniel, cause she supposedly had a fling at a medical convention. I’m thinking…somehow Trent or someone we don’t know yet….
Please lord let it not be Bo. I will totally lose it after the CRAP THAT WAS CHELSEA/GEORGIA fiasco.
I really don’t think Bo is the daddy. He obviously knows Carly’s story and why she is there, and if he was the daddy, he would be reacting differently.
I definitely did not get the impression Bo is the father – unless, of course, Carly kept this from him. I think Days would be making a horrible mistake and turn viewers off it it turned out he was the dad.
I was really hoping for Melanie to be Nicole’s daughter with Trent and for Mia to possibly be Carly’s daughter with Daniel. I think it would have made more sense that way.
What I’ve read is that Carly’s daughter is Melanie, but the father is NOT Trent. She will explain to Bo, in today’s show, maybe, that she had an affair with a doctor at a medical convention in Europe, and got pregnant. When Lawrence found out about it, he made her give the baby up to "a man" so I’m thinking baby selling or something along those lines. Now, somehow, she finds out her child is in Salem, Lawrence finds out she is trying to find it, and the rest is pretty much up to date with where we are now. Fact is, I think the child is Melanie, and still speculating that Daniel will be the father, although there’s no spoiler out there about that part. I just remember reading somewhere that Daniel will somehow be involved in the Bo/Hope/Carly storyline at some point, so I’m speculating that Daniel may possibly be the father of a teenager, but soaps.com has already reported that the daughter will, in fact, be Melanie. I’m really looking forward to this storyline. No offense to the actress who plays Mia, but she could not possibly handle this role as well as Molly, and I think when this can of worms is opened in another week or two, CC and MB will rock their scenes together.
I’m still saying Trent could be the daddy even though the story is she had a fling with a doctor. If I remember it just said convention and Trent was a college professor and if he had a PhD he would be a Doctor of ? not necessarily an MD.
about her child, she said that Lawrence made her give her child to some man. Well, that man could be Trent. Trent never cared about Melanie, he just used her for his own purposes. What better revenge for Lawrence than to know that Trent was using Carly’s kid?! Then, when he finds out Trent is no longer in the picture, he threatens to kill the girl. That would also leave the option of Daniel being the doctor or some other guy when they decide to bring him on. Trent did have a PhD but he was also very sleezy all along and Carly didn’t say the the girl was given to her father, just some man. I’m guessing the Carly showed Bo a baby photo of her child as I think Bo has seen both Melanie and Mia so he would know them.
Don’t shoot me, but I liked the dating of Chelsea and Dr. Dan. Maybe because those were the 1st romance acting scenes we saw for Dr. Dan (and we experienced Chelsea’s maturing). It was disgusting,though, to think of Dan & Kate’s (but what’s new there?) May/December thingy but now we’ve got the Dr. doing the deed with another older lady? Gosh… Dan dated Bo’s daughter, and now he dated Bo’s ex? That’s a generation gap that’s too much to swallow. In my thinking pattern, Dr. Dan and Carly’s son, Nicholas, should be palling around together.
I’m sure kpatch could replace at least 4 writers and give us a good story line to use the characters properly!
Didn’t Carly say something about, "When Lawrence found out he couldn’t have children…?" Isn’t Nicholas Lawrence’s son? It seems like Nicky and Shawn D. have evaporated.
that Nicholas ever existed due to other writers having aged him to a ridiculous point? Or Lawrence was the father of Nicholas long ago but due to something lost the ability after they married. We were told something had happened to him so it could be related to that. Just a thought.
When she was telling Bo the story she said Lawrence had been sick and was different afterwords. I’m thinking whatever he had the treatment or disease/condition left him sterile.
Okay, I guess I didn’t hear that. The g.kids were here running around making lots of noise (in spite of my threat to render them permanently mute if they didn’t quiet down!). Thanks for the clearification. That makes sense now.
