For starters – This last week was waaay too much E.J. and Sami(my opinion is 2 minutes of Sami is too much).
Now suddenly Lucas gives Sami a bracelet that belonged to Alice. That is ridiculous. Alice Horton was a very smart and intelligent woman, and I can’t believe that she would want Sami of all people to have something that had belonged to her(Alice).
The writers have already tarnished Alice to a degree, and she doesn’t deserve nothing but complete respect. They sure poured it on for Lexie and according to some of the spoilers, Lexie will be honored some more. Enough!!
I don”t understand the purpose of Nicole and Daniel being together and I certainly don’t care for the almost porn sex they are having.
Another note – I watched a Lifetime Movie the other night and Patrick Muldoon was in it. Oh my gosh, he was a creepy stalker and murderer. His acting was just like the way Austin is portrayed. Stupid without a clue to what is going on around him. He still seems very weird to me.
Oh, one more thing. ALL THESE RUMORS OF STEFANO NOT BEING DEAD. WHY, OH WHY CAN’T HE STAY DEAD!!!!! ENOUGH OF HIM!!! Some things just need to be over after such a long time of being on screen. There’s got to be more imagination with these writers than having the same old theme over and over again.

And I don’t disagree with a word you said. You hit on something with Alice Horton being transfromed into a character that she was not in life. Once again that tragic mistake that has been repeated far too often – plot over character.
And Dan/Nicole. I’m appalled that a developing child could take a back seat to lust. I find this very tawdry and driven by the ubiquitous “sex sells” mentality and not writing with any depth. Now and then a conversation hints at something more, but we quickly go back to tabletop romps.
As for Austin and Carrie, totally ruined characters. I did not mind Patrick in the early Days, but this round he’s been awful.Agree 100% about Austin, EJ and Sami! Enough already! Sorry to those who lave Sami and EJ, but he is still a manipulative rapist and makes my stomach turn! Austin can’t act worth a flip! I’ve watched Days for a very long time so I’ve seen him as Austin before. He should retire. He does have that creepy stalker personality.
I likeDan and Nicole, but what is the point. It’s EJ’s baby! She’s going to go back to him, unless he dies. Also, the last time Dan jumped into a totally sex based relationship was with Chloe and we know how that ended. I wish they would let relationship develop on this show instead of sex all the time and that’s all there is. It wouldn’t bother me so much if there was more to the relationship, but theres nothing!
what I’ve been "ranting" about for several, months, years – a decade (it seems) about Days. Thank you for the validation – and here I thought I was the only person…all of your posts hit bits and pieces and right on the nail! Alice Horton – leave her shiny memory untarnished! Writers are really going to PO fans if they mess with Alice! And WAY toooooooooooooooo much Sami, for years now. Austin is like his space twin siblings (off in another world). Daniel is a male slut – who hasn’t he had in Salem yet that is of legal age? And even though Nicole is "now" a "good character" – you would think with all the stuff – (which is endless) she has done in order to have a child -that she would make every conceivable effort to make sure her child is totally safe now that she has done the impossible and conceived. But no…she’s reverting to her porn days. GMAFriggin’B!
