How can James Scott NOT have gotten an Emmy yet?! Say what you want about his character, but he plays him with such depth and emotion. He played today’s scenes and the scenes leading up to this with such perfection. Just blown away by him today!
and plays this role to perfection. The pure angst exhibited by him over the past few days has been Emmy worthy and if he doesn’t win it, then NBC should boycott the show. That’s, of course, assuming he would nominate himself with this particular scene.
James is an excellent actor and definitely deserves an Emmy. This playing EJ as totally lost and desperate and so far from the character… Terrific. But I still hate EJ, LOL!
I was sitting there watching him thinking, I am so wrapped up in this scene I haven’t moved a muscle. He was AWESOME! And, yes, I wanted to cry for him. He portrayed his sunk-to-the-bottom-of-the-barrel desperation to the max.
Wow. Gotta disagree here. All that face pulling and eye squinching. Blech! Holy overacting batman! When he first came into the house with all the panting and sniffing I thought he was trying to imply that not only was he drunk but he had snorted a mountain of cocaine. I know he was supposed to be crying and all but he was sniffing and snorting so much! Wayyyyyy over the top.
