Before I start – doesn’t everyone agree Brady and Melanie need their own places? ESPECIALLY Brady. Goodness – move out Brady LOL
Okay on to Nicole… Let me first say I do not condone what she did to Eric (keeping the evidence a secret.) Nor do I want Eric with Nicole – b/c I think he’s being a major ass lately. You don’t like Nicole? Fine. But for someone who was a priest you sure do a great job of sh*tting all over her. Just keep it to yourself Eric and move on.
Anyway… so when Nicole is selfish and self centered she’s wrong? Right?! Okay – so the fact that she thinks Eric is in trouble by being with Serena might not justify her going after her (especially since it’s 50% concern for Eric and 50% her just hating Serena) but it certainly puts her in the nice girl column a bit. I dunno – I get her motives are all over the place BUT the fact that she is so concerned about someone she loved/loves who is NOTHING but brutal to her (and yes – he has a right to feel that way) says a lot about her heart!!! I kinda feel bad for her.
Now I get why Daniel is upset – he feels like a rebound/threatened by her affection for Eric. But Daniel – no one is taking you serious – you have had too many partners.
The thing Nicole SHOULD have done is tell Daniel about her source and been transparent about it. But then there would be no soap right? LOL
Nicole keeps shooting herself in the foot. It looks like eventually she will be the girl who cried wolf and no one will believe her. Even though I firmly believe she’s on the money about Serena. Serena is starting to show her true colors now and I have to hand it to the actress.
Nicole is so bass-ackwards with her impulsive actions, and she never learns from her mistakes. To begin, was this guy, Ted, for real??? It seemed like it to me, so there’s no wonder Serena didn’t want them to open HIS file, because it appeared she was really concerned for this guy, but not in the way he wanted her to be concerned for him, and when she revealed that his mental instability was "public record," that really made Nicole look like a fool. C’mon, Nikki, you are supposed to be a journalist, too; or, at least that’s what you claim to be. What reputable journalist wouldn’t seek out their source beore simply taking their word. You messed up big time here. Now, does Serena still have some devious plot in mind? I still haven’t seen that. I think she really does care for Eric, but this stupid elephant story, as ridiculous as it seems, may have nothing to do with trying to put one over on Eric. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if she really is the big bad wolf in a "bludbird’s" disguise. LOL!
As I posted on the Annex board…I think that Serena is setting up Nicole to stop her from looking into what she is up to. I think that Edward and his doctor are both in on it and she is trying to neutralize Nicole so that she won’t be found out. She obviously has a plan that she is working on and has other people involved…whether its stolen art or whatever but something is going on and she does not want Nicole to find out about it.
It seems to me that she really is just using Eric to get what she wants. From those phony tears about Edward to the hastily disguised shock on her face when Eric questioned her about why she seemed so unnerved when Nicole said she had her files. And then the sudden pull back when Eric was going to kiss her and that smug look on her face when she walked out the door. And all the comments from everyone, Marlena on down, about how “sweet” Serena is seems to me to be setting everyone up for the big shocker when they find out she is a notch further down on the ladder than they all think Nicole is.
Oh and as for St. Daniel, has he realized yet that his holier-than-thou sanctimonious baloney isn’t getting him very far in the female department? He is always having some self-righteous blow-up with these women he claims to love and then back to the apartment he goes all alone. Perhaps his standards are just a tad too high? He had every right to be angry with her but he really needs to get off that pedestal because when he falls down he is going to do great damage to that ego of his.
and what happened to the blizzard? Must have been the same one we were supposed to get last Monday, LOL. Mel was dressed for a spring time date when she got to the Kiriakis place. And why doesn’t Brady pick up his date anyway?like Serena has a hidden agenda, but so far I can’t believe that it is meant to harm Eric, but perhaps rather to protect him. I’m very curious now but I’ve seen many past plot points that looked to be a sure thing as far as the audience’s speculation of what a character is up to, only to have it turn out to be the complete opposite of what was expected. Maybe she’s the one who is in danger if she doesn’t get that piece of art. I must admit, the writers are peaking because when the obvious becomes the opposite, it means they’re doing a good job with the writing. I do think Melissa Archer is doing a good job with this role, and I’m still hoping that Serena is not out to hurt Eric. In any case, good job on this one writers. I actually thought Daniel was sincere today when he tried to make Nicole realize she was only kidding herself when she claims she no longer is in love with Eric. Eric, however, needs to chill on bashing her every chance he gets, especially if it turns out that Nicole was right.
that she was sick and tired of him always jumping on her with all his sanctimonious criticism and maybe HE should take a walk so she can find a guy that will stand behind her FIRST and ask questions later. I mean, he almost didn’t even let her give him an explanation.
